I just caught up reading this, and idk about u ppl, but I can agree on Tora's mindset (guy with a mole near his mouth); he changed because the world changed, now he needs to survive. He may appear evil(?) and ruthless, but that's what happens when u need to survive. Hopefully he doesn't die that quick tho :< he's my fav character so far.
On a side note tho, I think there is an antidote somewhere? or medicine that avoids them from turning into chickens at the age of 20?? Heck, I might even shoot in the dark and say that eating those chickens might've given them some antibodies from turning into one xD no evidence to back the idea, just a thought/hunch???
ik it's discontinued, but that felt like a oneshot; where we were offered this amazing cake, but after one bite, someone decided to knock it off our hands :< now it's all gone to waste.

On a serious note tho, I still enjoyed reading this, even if I only had one bite; It ended on the part where the intro arc ended, so it's not a total bummer; It's still an 'end' (this is why I said it's like a oneshot :/ this type of disappointment was too similar to it.)
Y'know, I have the habit of thinking about the minority; it's bad ik, and i'm most likely gonna get some hate...but...imo...let's see how he can redeem himself.
I meeeaann...I was once on that 'hate/kill him train', so I understand, and I am not siding nor defending him; just my thoughts. I agree that the main males in this story are scum, and the only good and genuine man in this story is papa (and probably his knights too). The prince was absolute trash in the mc's past life, mocked, mentally tortured, and also traumatized the mc, but we dunno the whole story yet. We see the mc's perspective, but rarely the prince's pov; meaning we can hate all we want, but it's not satisfying at all; I mean, I dunno about anyone else, but the hate doesn't last long for me when I dunno the whole situation.
I am not saying to forgive the prince GOD NO! Torture him mentally or physically, hurt him, let the situation betray him for all I care. Yet... that's for right now at least. If the mc may have triggered something really dear to him that made him think 'gosh this woman needs to die' (like how most people are feeling right now for the prince), then I would consider that a reason. valid? idk, maybe not.
In this life, many things have changed for the mc, her attitude changed, goal, background, acquaintances, interaction, etc. She is also approaching the prince differently, so his thoughts about her may have changed as well.
This grudge that many of us feel for this timeline's prince...just doesn't feel right for me, since he himself wouldn't really remember of what he did in another timeline...so even if he dies or suffer... it just doesn't feel as satisfying imo; it's like making the clone suffer because of the previous clone's wrongdoings. I'm still hurt by what he did, but if I see things that can differentiate himself with his other self, then maybe...maybe I might forgive him a little. Time heals.
maybe the reason you are talking bout is connected to whatever she talked about her mother in the past and the prince heard it, it might be the trigger since the prince loves her mother, like her own.
and i don't really hate the prince just like u are talking bout it feels unsatisfying to hate someone without a valid reason
Yep I agree, that's one of the theories most people had when that chapter came up, but yea, that is also why I can't hate him too much. Also, it's alright if u don't hate the as much like me, I'm merely speaking about the majority. It's good that u also think that way tho. ^^

From the way they presented it, at first it may seem like 'pity-love'; I thought how some people would hate it, but the uke really needed it. Yet towards the end I can really tell that the seme is really developing some genuine feelings eh.
Also on a side note; Ik a widower irl and I do agree that there comes a time where u have to move on. That doesn't mean u stop loving the person, it just means that u don't need to keep feeling sad, alone nor bound to them for the rest of ur life. The other party's family/ others may disagree and hate the widower, but it can't be helped. It's natural that people would yearn to be with another (physically); not just some distant memory of a person they loved. Still, I do agree that this is a sad situation to be in... :<

Oh my o.o The discrimination problem in omegaverse is improving. Omegas in this story have gained better rights and are actually more protected by the government (actual facilities not just drugs); unlike the old omegaverse stories where they are despised and uncared for. Usually in other omegaverse stories, omegas are known to work in sex industries, so they have to work really hard to be acknowledged; at least this time, many omegas work in the entertainment industry like its expected, so imo they have better lives that the cliche plots.
I'm quite happy about this tiny detail cuz it doesn't feel really cliche (storywise) and I'm glad that authors are experimenting more about the subgenre other than the typical discrimination topic. Also i've been kinda fed up by the omegaverse plot of omegas being helpless by their nature; where the only help is drugs. At least in this story, it actually feels like it's a totally normal thing (part of life, not a curse). It feels more accepted and with more compromises.
If I were to make a logical timeline of an omegaverse history, based on the common info ik, then it will most likely go like this:
1) People realizing and acknowledging 3 additional genders [alpha, beta, omega]
2) Alphas and betas seem really similar to the primitive gender. Only omegas are out of the ordinary. There are a few omegas in the population; many in hiding.
3) Discrimination to omegas is still high.There are still many problems with society. A drug was used to suppress the omegas' heat. Many poor omegas because of their medication. Many omegas work in sex industries.
4) Omega numbers increase. Increased cases of immunity against the drug solution; drugs doesn't have any effect to many omegas.
5) Strong-willed omegas take rise to society; proving that they are not just sex-slaves. Many omegas tried working hard to fit into society (business men, politics, etc; they tried to get works other than sex industries)
6) Omegas gain power. They are soon accepted by society. Since there are some hard-working omegas who are in politics, they were able to gain rights and funds to create proper facilities for other omegas.
7) People are now accustomed by the differences of others. Discrimination decreases.

I may have appeared that I'm serious about this topic, but I was merely voicing out my observations about this subgenre's cliche plots and situation; nothing more. Umm... this is just me noticing how the usual cliche plot suddenly becomes interesting cuz of a tiny change y'know?
Haha if I were to say what i'm (kinda?) serious about, it would most likely be my search for interesting stories that's out of the norm. Other than unnecessary drama? both ml's insecurities and problems got sorted and they've experienced so much, so I'm really satisfied with the end rn tbh

Imo, having Ch.70 as the last chapter seemed more fitting and acceptable; after that, it was just horrible and way too rushed. I'm gonna remove it from my memory now... if I can...
Idc if it "felt complete" because it showed the afterstory of every character. I was interested at first, but dang the execution after that year-long chapter gap was just terrible. From what I saw, I think this afterstory wanted to settle zou-gege's "love story" (I already lost interest with how long it took, and it took awhile for me to even remember who he was.) Now we are shown how he was practically forced to be with the daughter; It just felt too pitiful imo. I would've preferred for him to stay single than being in a forced relationship (I didn't feel that he was interested at all; I can only see a guy who substitutes that child as his ex-love, and the author wants to pretend it's ok cuz the child is obsessed with him? Nah, No love development at all. No thanks.)
After that goal was out of the way, I guess the author just wondered, "how to end this? Oh, let's have a kidnapping to show how cool the characters were and end it there." I literally had to reread from ch 71 (when the afterstory started) just so that I could understand the purpose of these last 10 chapters, and from what I read, that last segment felt totally out of place. It seemed like an ok ending by itself, but the flow of the story was just a shift of pov and an incident occurring, then done. I mean what was what? that's a just a quick way to end the story! It had no relevance other than showing how cool the characters were! Somebody explain to me if any of these made sense; yet no matter, I will have to say that the execution for the ending wasn't thought out well.
I used to really enjoy reading this story back then. The concept of a "1/2 prince" was interesting, the journey was cool, and their interactions were funny. However, the ending was incredibly rushed and it's really noticeable how the author just wanted to end it when "the after story with the prince's children" concept didn't work out. The journey of the characters were interesting enough, but that ending left a bitter aftertaste; so now every time I try to remember this story, all I could think about was that bitter taste, which is sad because I had a fun time reading the early chapters. :<
Overall, if someone just wants to read it for the journey, then sure it's a good read; but as someone who likes to validate the whole story, the ending is very crucial since it serves as the last memory/ parting words for the reader, and I'd gotta say that this story wasn't enjoyable cuz of this. Ch 70 is the better ending i'd preferred, so I'll just have to imagine the chapters after that didn't exist if I want to keep a good memory about this manga.
