It is so obvious on who the ML is. Many korean comics tend to focus more on the black haired guy instead of the blonde one. Also, Haeil has more screen time than Minjae which is also noted. Bro, Minjae needs to zippppp, I feel so bad for him even though he lowkey is my type (free him) But I know that Giju will choose Haeil in the end since he’s been there since the beginning. Overall I don’t want Crochetta to have any sort of endgame with any other person. However, I do wish that she forms some sort of platonic connection with Amory, the other transmigrator in the story. Maybe its because I really like transmigrator duos in stories idk. Anyways, he had like 1-2 chapters of screen time but out of all people, he is the one who knows the true identity of Crochetta and knows why the way she is (charm stat). Plus, because he knows about the charm stat and that MC is a player of the game he’d probably have a stronger willpower to not be taken by the charm??? I mean MC threatened him to not be charmed with her and it worked since he stopped being flirty immediately after, so he’d probably understand how she’s feeling.
I feel bad for MC because its scary and lonely for her to fend for herself. I just find the thought a bit comforting if MC were to commiserate and feel a bit better with Amory who is another korean. Maybe another person from her world will make her stay sane. (
It's better for her to be single, she doesn't know what healthy relationship looks like and all the characters are crazy and dumb AF, especially the FL. From the moment she turned the stat charm into max, we can already get a glimpse why was she a loser IRL. The genre leans towards horror/thriller/Psychological rather than romance and the niche is sadomasochistic obsession. I keep reading because it's intense actually, I can feel the thrill and scared for her situation and the art is gorg.
None of the ML were normal to begin with and all of them are selfish, a perfect representation of what men IRL acts and thinks. For some naive readers like the FL would easily fall for someone like Roger but he is just the "nice guy" who acts righteous and though but a lot of them are the same in their core. They don't love the FL, they lusted her and why deep down, they don't want her to lose her charm because those charm made them feel the thrill of being high in lust.
The MC is also dumb which is why her situation keeps getting worse, she doesn't know how to fully wield her power but instead keep depending on others. She is not badass in my eyes.
I don’t know how far you are within the story. But she gets better, I mean to meher decisions are valid and make sense for the narrative she is in but I can see why she kinda looks stupid?? (Even the FL acknowledges her decisions and mistakes out of self-guilt) I mean to be fair she is a horror MC, and horror MCs have to make dumb decisions in order for the story to be entertaining, plus she has no solution to her curse so she has to do some crazy stuff in order for the story to go forward. But in further chapters she wielded her power to manipulate others to do her bidding so there’s that in a positive way

I read this because tiktok recommended it to me from a slideshow, and it was basically comparing the ML and the ex husband by using pictures of how they act with FL. I legit thought that this story was a love triangle until I actually read it.
See, the thing is? I was disappointed on who the ML was. Not because of the age gap but because he’s like any other typical manhwa/kdrama ML with the exception that he’s a yandere character: Stoic, Cold, Serious, Rich, black hair, barely any personality besides those traits. (I do hope that he does develop a personality later though because we’re only 10 chapters in)
With my previous statement, I’m not siding with the shitty husband because obviously. I just want an ML with a personality, even if the ML is stoic at least put some sort of flavor or something. A character can be stoic/serious with some flare (Nanami Kento, Akaashi Keiji, Suna Rintarou, etc). I lowkey wish that ML and ex-husband switch personality traits (not the cheating trait obvi)

See I understand why people are mad at the MC but this story has a huge twist than just the ”Reincarnated as a villainess and I somehow got the entire cast to fall in love with me” cliché, if MC were to actually find out about their feelings for her and not be in denial she’d freak out...
And honestly idgaf if MC is dense because the rest of the cast are intriguing in a morbid way. This story, for some reason, can somehow sugarcoat but be direct with the capture targets ”obsession” like usually when people think of what a ”yandere” is they’d think of someone who is clingy or possesive, since MOST stories tend to romanticize ”yandere” archetypes. But this story shows how BAD and downright CRIMINAL some of these characters are. Like that one TEACHER and the rest...like these characters are actually crazyyyy and I feel like it's just better for her to just be dense in a way.
I feel like if she was more aware this story would have to change genre into a horror/suspense since the yandere in this story is more of the classical type (which isn't really as popular nowadays since everyone wants the doting sweetheart kind or the violently abusive kind...) I think having her be oblivious adds a different kind of suspense, like when you're playing an otoge where you the player know there's supposed to be a dark twist but your naive player character knows nothing :3c
