While I understand chowon's mental health /better/, I can see some using his arc as an excuse to justify his behaviour and shift the blame entirely to dojun. Y'all are forgetting that it is common in the rich circle to have ARRANGED MARRIAGES and you can't say both aren't aware of it. It just so happened that Chowon became obssessed in making Dojun love him to the point of hurting others.
Also, NEWSFLASH: Mental illness doesn't evaporate the consequences of our actions. And it definitely doesn't excuse Chowon's constant discrimination against omegas like hyesung
No one is saying that being mentally ill excuses people of their harmful actions towards others. No one is saying “Chowon should keep acting the way he’s acting because he’s just mentally ill!! Let him do what he wants he’s suffering.” People are explaining why he’s acting the way he’s acting and this explains why people sympathize with him. Also, Dojun is no angel either. He literally raped Heesoo in chapter 76. Why aren’t people still hating him for that? Because he expressed remorse and wasn’t in his right mind. Chowon, in taking his pills, realizes that He isn’t in his right mind, regrets what happened and wants to get better (it backfires because he takes too much, but I think that highlights how desperate he was to get better). Why can’t we show a similar degree of clemency to Chowon that we do Dojun, despite the fact that Chowon is following a similar path to redemption? Idk just my thoughts.

2.People's character doesn't change overnight. IT NEEDS A LOT OF WORK.
3.IT NEEDS A LOT OF WORK - from people who genuinely love and cared for him + professional help + medicine
4.His actions that hurt people - Hyesung, Kyungsoo, Dojun and many more-He needs to realized and apologize GENUINELY

Because he thought MARRIAGE can somehow make him HAPPY.HE IS OBSESSED in HAPPINESS. He is OBSESSED in LOVE that he didn't felt from his family and people around him. he was surrounded by plastics (bad for mother nature)
6. Chowon is trying to be better. I hope you see it. For a mentally unstable person like Chowon. Realizing after saying those hurtful words to Kyungsoo, reaching out to him. TAKING HIS MEDICINE to the point of overdose in urgency to be better for Kyungsoo is his way of saying I WANT TO BE BETTER PLEASE HELP ME.
