so close to beeing good but man the way kureshima is writen with out like any remorse at all is just off putting. like it wouldnt "excuse" anything but with him writen consetly with a smirk and seemingly never struggeling makes it just off putting. i can like a character who is not great, who can be mean and tease and what ever but there has to be something more to them than just like evil master mind for it to work.

Yeah just read the raws and it seems kinda disapointing in how they resolve this prediciment. I know alot of people interpit the scene in chapter 4 as SA but reading the it doesnt seem like its intended to be SA.
Atleast they end up happy i guess but yeah it doesnt seem like the creator really took the story that serius and wrapped it up sort of slap dash which is disapointing cus they have shown to be really great with Kyuuhankagai
yeah the more i've thought of it the more disappointing it feels. i will spoil somethings so don't read if you dont wanna get spoiled WARNING SPOILERS, the debt literally gets wrapped up and payed first thing chapter 5 and they try to have sex but glasses kicks him out and there is a really quick fake out that he died that lasts about half a second and then it ends and it just kinda feels like a waste. i'd rather just have them kinda fall in love than this conflict that isn't gonna actually go anywhere and feels like it was forced in just because they weren't sure where to go with the story, makes sense nobody was at a rush to translate it.
Honestly kinda annoying that the whole relationship drama hinges on one of the guys just fucking going "actually im not straigth". Like it makes sense for Ren to not wanna confess but why is Kazuma seemingly unable to speak.
Honma thinks hes manipulating Ikai, but who he really is manipulating is himself to keep himself from having to deal with his feelings and be vulnerable to get hurt.
God, it's so good, like it's so well written. how he probably exposes his real feelings in chapter one but just just writes them off as a lie and then how he kinda compulsively lies constantly in small ways not even letting his mask slip from his brother. He's really just built up a wall around him. and then ofc that amazing chapter 4 where he's just as confused around his feelings that Ikai is and finally allows himself to be honest, showing his weakness for the first time. It's so good, even trying to word him saying he loves him in a more casual way instead of the direct yes he actually gives and the “unintentionally whispered”, such a good detail, he no longer can contain himself and control what he's saying, the mask is off and he has to be honest… in the name… of… love.
