i think penelope switches the glasses and then drinks the poisonous one? i don’t remember the exact details but she knew that she was drinking the poisonous one because the necklace started glowing, i’m pretty sure vinter stood up because he realised himself why the necklace was glowing but he didn’t actually do anything. she then drinks it and basically falls to ground, and i think before she actually passes out the system appears and asks if she wants to see something??? i don’t remember the exact details but she doesn’t actually have the strength to decline so she ends up passing out and seeing a scene unravel. (if you want more info about this i can give it), but after penelope passes out callisto runs to her and her brother etc, then vinter says that he can help penelope (because she will die if she doesn’t get the antidote) and he gives her it bla bla bla bla. penelope ends up asleep for a week or something i don’t remember the exact details but they accuse penelope of suicide
