Idk how I feel about this story as a whole there's just something about how they're completely disregarding not just Lute's feelings about this entire "fiance" situation but completely disregarding his feelings in general as well as his and everyone around him's physical safety like the knight is so weirdly entitled and they're trying so hard to make them seem like good partners and no they're not he's literally taking advantage of him for the sake of an ability that the knowledge of could put him and literally everyone else in danger not to mention the fact that the mana gems are so powerful they can level cities like this is all so messed up and it's like the creator doesn't even notice
But the flow and set up of the panels is so bad we move from scene to scene with almost zero explanation or time for transition and the scenes we move to are missing so much context that they just don't make sense not to mention the characters are done so dirty I'm not a stranger to women in BL getting dumbed down to jealous ex lovers but it will never not be annoying (and misogynistic) but Jaewon needs to stand up because what is this you should never be so romantically interested in a person that you're willing to break a knee for them like that's so pathetic especially when that man ain't shit like I want better for you stand up put your foot down
I know people are saying this is similar to The Duchess's 50 Tea Recipes but frankly I like this girl more her attitude is more fun and I like her dresses better and the side characters are more fun tbh like this story feels way more chill and it's less her solving absurd problems and more her chilling and having fun which is nice
Yeahh!! Also there’s actual pushback on the mc from other characters, unlike the tea one. Like, she makes tea and suddenly everybody loves her and stuff. But, this one is slower to get there and there’s also a lot of political intrigue that the other one didn’t have(idk if it had it later but I dropped the tea one cause I got bored lol)
Yeah, also this one shows the difficulty she has to go through to make coffee. Whereas the tea one was just “ml buys her every tea type in the world” and then goes from there. Mc has to literally recruit a magician to make certain types of coffee and she literally has to make the beans herself lol.
Also, since the ml has a brother, there’s a lot more interactions the mc can have, and also more plot points.
Wait wait wait so you're telling me that not only was she previously married to his brother who died, he suffered abuse to an extent that it effected his ability to talk for the rest of his life in an extremely conservative society and not once did she bother to consider..... You know what forget forget it I'm gonna let it go because I'll be damned if she starts making me sympathize with a man
