As much as I agree with the other comments about the FL, I also empathize with her.
So let’s assume that she has never read any book-transmigration novels before, she doesn’t know that the character’s fates are flexible after she arrives. She’s probably assuming that the book is the solid outline of everyone’s fate and that they are programmed to follow that outline no matter how she interferes. Seeing how she’s so anxious about her death and her daughter, she’s probably not going to realize that Calix is no longer a 2D character but a 3D person. As most stories go, she’ll most definitely go through “this isn’t a story but my life” moment.
I’m stopping at ch 26 since this story doesn’t excite me to continue reading. May FL develop her reality thinking cap and be happy.
This also happened to translated novels back in Winter 2021 when the uploaders posted messed-up versions of the chapter and locked the actual content to prevent stealing. Good for them for taking matters into their own hands but man, the random baby is so out of place with their facial expressions.
