Bad manga gets worse, people: "Not my thing."
Average manga gets bad, people: "Time to read something new."
Awesome manga gets 'average', people: "LET'S BURN THE AUTHOR, BASH HIS WORK, BAN HIS IDEAS, LET HIM SUFFER, CALL HIM BITCH, AND HOPE THAT HE NEVER FINDS HAPPINESS AGAIN, WHEN HE DOESN'T WRITE THE STORY AS WE, THE MIGHTY READERS WITH EXCELLENT TASTE, WISH!!!ヽ(`Д´)ノ "
If you read the comment section without knowing what's going on, you think that the author would have let everyone died, after the protagonist suddenly burned down a puppy shop, threw all candy of the world in the ocean, ran naked on the streets screaming that Game of Thrones season 8 was the best and then slapped L from Death Note calling him trash.
But no. All the stress, because of a new pairing and a few weeks of waiting. Patience. Not a superpower, but rare these days. ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
And the best thing is: Now people are complaining, that the next chapter will be the new pairing again. YOU DON'T SAY?! The author is not doing a hard cut, letting two of his precious characters just disappear without explanation?! How dare he (╯°Д °)╯╧╧
*cough* last part was sarcasm *cough* just in case people don't get it *cough*
I love the main pairing more than the second and I'm also curious, but I'm at a point, I want the author to take a break, leaving the main couple aside for a longer while, just that there is no reward for whining. But you know what? It's not my story, this is the authors story and I'm happy that he shares his work. Some (not all) of you are not giving good advices or constructive critique anymore but ungrateful disrespectful comments.
I hope the author doesn't regret showing you his work.
And for the others that have respect: It's totally okay, if you don't like the way the story goes, sometimes it's about how you say something. And if you say it nice, that's cool.
(=・ω・=)
I want to create a big circle of slapping, in which I slap the uke so hard, that he finds his brain again and slaps the seme, so that he kicks Charlie out of that drama right in the arms of the secretary, who trembles so much, that he pushes Joo in the non-depressiv part of a relationship, which shines so bright, that the ukes roomate changes his mind of being a porn filmer to being a great friend or partner for the now mentally healt uke. Fin. Oh, wait, and then I get slapped by the fans who want an exciting story and love the drama (づ ̄ ³ ̄)づ That's the ciiiirclee of good sense slaaaaap.
Great, so instead of getting 2 more chapters about the side couple we get two weeks of nothing because everyone was to impatient to wait for the main couple to return.
And now the author is forced to change his own story and maybe to end a pair he really liked. Well, that's when art becomes the product of influence. It's not about the authors wishes anymore and that's sad, if i liked it or not. ┗( T﹏T )┛
I don't think this is about the author's wishes at all. It looks like the author got stuck, which happens a lot with writers. The pressure of having to produce something once a week can make it worse. I think the author should have more time off, with some of it NOT having to think about or work on the story for a while, but I don't think they get paid unless they produce. It's a brutal industry.
When the author took time do work on the main characters plot and focused on a side couple to made waiting easier, everybody went crazy. Now that the main couple is back, there is whining about how boring the plot goes on~ I think someone ruined the authors joy. And, well, I have to agree somehow, It's still awesome but I see some sparks missing.
