If there is a redemption arc, it must be something like 'saving the whole damn' earth, no, the 'whole universe' in order for me to ever foget what he did. How he treated that gift someone put really big effort in, is just too much at this point.
I never hated a top that much in my whole life and I read MANY BL.
Mo and He Tians relationship is kinda special - if Mo really hated that He Tian tried to bath him, there would have been a serious 'no' and 'okay, sorry'. They are always like this, fighting, teasing, but they always protect each other when it's serious. If Mo would show that he is really uncomfortable, He Tian would stop immediately.
I kinda thought, that the assassin guy took NK to him to show him that murder might not be the best, easiest and fastes way to solve his problems - because seeing someone suffer and die is different than ordering someone to do it for you, it makes you realize things.
But then I remembered that the assassin killed the servant without hesitation and now I'm not sure anymore ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭
I agree with you. Nameless can see Jihwan is having doubts and is falling to pieces over the whole thing. Everything he says this chapter is very measured and intended to intensify Jihwa's already ever so heavy guilt. He is constantly reminding Jihwan of his involvement and forcing him to face the reality of the situation When he starts describing such brutal, violent acts against Nakyum I suspect he is trying to scare Jihwa off and make him even more uncomfortable.
Tbh who would not act like Eclis? If my family got killed and I would become a slave who is then bought to be a human shield I wouldnt care about anyone.
Eclis is crazy, and that's the normal way if you went though hell like him. And Penelope didn't treat him well, she forgot about him for days. She just checked his favor for her and never really saw him as a human with trauma or even feelings.
And she did not gave him what he needed - freedom. That's what a slave needs, not to be used like a protection dog.
Eclis is mad af but Penelope did a whole lot to keep him in this state.
