(SPOILER) All the rapes turns the story “too much” and at the same time boring… because you already know that something bad is going to happen every time someone is alone in the woods and Leo isn’t around. The author used the same formula over and over again. It almost like “filling chapters”.
I stopped to read when the author decided to make a chapter with: main couple sex, attempting to rape of a nun and a blind girl, and then the couple sex again, and then more rape and murder, and it kept going switching scenes. That was kind of sick.
