This wasn't just sweeet it was soo cute, i squealed a few times haha... I liked everything except when they suddenly had baby number 2, we missed out on Yan pampering a pregnant Li.. even just a few panels would have been okay, or even if there was a time skip, but to suddenly go to her just giving birth to baby number 2 from them talking about having kids was crazy haahaa
I'm not finish with this as yet, I'm only halfway through but I'm pretty sure I've been laughing out loud in almost every episode, the dialogue in this is so funny.
I'm happy I followed my own judgement and read this. If you like a mellow story, with not much angst, and a sweet romance, then this is for you. The only thing is, though everything was wrapped up I did wish there was a few extra panels with them having kids and the grandpa with the kids, even if it was just one panel of a portrait of them at the end. But I still enjoyed this.
It's interesting that I never got SML syndrome but even when I watch Chinese drama, I don't get SML syndrome. Once I knew who the ML was, I didn't consider anyone else. Plus I thought this ML was perfect for the FL. No matter how nice the other guy was, he jist seemed more like a big brother to the FL than a potential lover, I couldn't see him as her love interest.
I enjoyed the ending, it was well done, it wasn't long but it was enough, and the little romance we got, I enjoyed it. Definitely wish there was more, but I'm content.

I did see a comment about Cosette coming back, but keep in mind her body didn't have a soul because she was dead, when the other person leaves, her body will be an empty shell she couldn't come back to life, she was already dead before she was born 20 or how many years ago, there was only a bit of her spirit there, which is different from her soul. But it would have been nice if she could have gotten to live her life, but she was grateful enough with what she had since she wasn't meant to have a life and see anything since she technically died.
Finally I see someone else who also likes the same ML as me lol. Put this on hold for a while and forgot who was who.
When I first started out reading this I was pretty sure the knight was gonna be the ML cause he has the standard black hair. I like the chemistry between the FL and magician guy better, so this spoiler is great for me.
Yeah, I'm cautious when it comes to those things, because I don't wanna be disappointed hahaha unless it's a total mystery until the end haha.. but I wait to see and then once I know i just look at the FL and ML, and even if I didn't know I still couldn't see this guy as the ML simple because he was sweet to her and he liked her from before, she had such a different type of vibe with the magician, it felt more romantic
I saw a comment that said they won't put two black hair people as the MC hahaha or people with the same hair color, and it is true it's not common to see the same hair color as MC in fantasy
I like these slice of life, low angst stories, they're nice to read after reading something heavy. Ps. I couldn't imagine anyone else with the FL, it jist felt like Isaac was perfect for her, but seriously.. what happened to Nau and Eugene hahaha it would have been nice to see them, plus the side stories felt a bit wasted with Nayu story for like 3 chapters, and the ML sister wedding, when we could have had a wedding for the MC.
This was really nice, I saw the comments that everything went well and I was sold haha.. It's nice to watch a story where everything went well sometimes, and this, things did happened, but the FL handled them like a boss, that's why it all went well. Even things that had to do with the past, unlike others where you died by someone and you either cling to them or distance yourself, this one the FL wanted to change the current time line to be better for her brother, and when she found out she was involve in the past, she shut herself in her room and had time to think it over etc, and then she went back and embraced her brother and forgive him, the ML also took time to heal and then fully forgive the brother for his past behavior, there are a few information that came out about the past and i just really liked how the story flowed. I also ended up having a lot of sympathy for the brother. I don't understand why this isn't over 9/10 rating, when it is a lot better than a lot of stuff I read that has higher rating, even the romance is sweet, the parents are awesome, finally the priest and pope isn't evil, even the imperial family haha.. and the FL is a boss!!!
Deserve more than an 8.9. This was sooo sweet, definitely one of the cutest I've read. The couple were cute, funny and the shy northern duke was a nice take on the story, apart from that one villain, everyone the side characters were nice people, so it's such a carefree and easy read, without being boring. And it leaves you content and happy.
This was one of the simplest romance I've read, it was so cute. I would have liked to see how her half-sister/maid turned out, and who her father title went too, as well as who the crown prince would end up with.
Awwwe this deserves some side stories!!.. I wanna know how they're doing after they graduated. I really enjoyed there academy days and the friendship and bond together. The romance was nice too, I knew they would have ended up together because they just seemed to just click and was a natural with each other. There was a lot of kisses too which was surprising haha
My favourite part was how the FL never ever ever ever once sympathized with the OG ML/crown prince, he was totally trash!.
