So mostly people are like "Yeah she has a bad childhood but she is still asshole". I think so too, but it doesn't mean that I don't feel sympathetic. Basically, the world abandoned her, so she just abandoned the world. However I hope she will become better and find someone truly loves her.

I applaud the author for formulating Sooah's character so well. While she does a lot for terrible things to Mirae and is kind of two-faced, her abusive childhood does make the readers a little pitiful of her. But, obviously having a bad childhood and being mistreated doesn't give you a reason to do that to others (this kind of reminds me of Laras from Eggnoid, who became a bully after being bullied herself). I hope that Sooah will soon understand that people will see through her facade of being nice if she keeps on bullying Mirae, and that she changes for the better. Sooah is also seen throwing up her food and constantly checking her weight to a oid becoming fat and to conform to beauty standards, so she can avoid being bullied like before. She obviously has lots of insecurity, but she shouldn't use that as an excuse to 'inflict' insecurity on Mirae. In the end, I hope that she can realize the unjustnees of her actions and change into a better person. Then not only would Mirae's life be happier, but Sooah's would be as well.
