I know some people feel bad for Eclise because he was a slave, but honestly seeing him try to manipulate Penelope made me feel so sick. He’s one of those guys who try to guilttrip u and claim he loves u when in fact he doesn’t really care about what makes u happy as long as he can manipulate u to stay with him. Penelope didn’t “corrupt” him, he was already corrupted from the start but she ignored all his red flags bc she was desperate to survive. And now that she’s abandoned him he’s desperate and threatening to kill everyone else in her life so he’ll be the only one left. Idk what people expect, should Penelope have begged him instead? Should she have stayed with him and have him manipulate her all her life? You think men like Eclise can be talked to? Why do people even read manhwas about villainesses then get upset when the main character isn’t afraid to say some mean words? Just read other manhwas where the female MC is a doormat and free therapy provider for the toxic ML. You’re all out here thinking “I can fix him” like Bob the Builder meanwhile Penelope goes “I can be worse than him”. A true queen.

I know eclise was brainwashed by ivonne but honestly i can’t rlly feel bad for him, his mindset is fucked up and manipulative. At least derrick (although annoying) had moments where his logic returns to him momentarily bc he wants to do the right thing

So now we know that everyone probably has their own tapes and for them to be able to remember the next run they have to put the tape in and press play. Yongtaek doesn’t remember the runs where his tape wasn’t played, but he has memory from whenever his last run was, so its strange that Bada has no memory at all of having teammates.
For some reason Bada and Hyungshin have faulty memories. I think Hyungsin’s is faulty bc he’s using the tape in the car instead of a real tape player. Not sure about Bada, but he could have been the one who took out Doha’s tape then forget about it, since he was the one player we know for sure was aware of the game at the beginning of the manhwa.

Crazy how I’ve never seen one valid criticism against this manhwa. Everyone who hates it either lacks common sense or reading comprehension.

If u are younger than 18, if u find sexual assaults triggering but still chose to read this manhwa, or if u think the author needs to spell out RAPE IS BAD so ppl would understand that rape is bad, u lack common sense.
If u don’t understand why minho chose to stay with wookyung in the end, if u read the whole story and don’t understand why they gotta insert wookyung’s mom or mention his childhood in the story, if at any point in the story u think anything is not making sense, u lack reading comprehension. The author is good bc everything they write is cohesive and every character’s backstory explains their actions and mentality.

Also get the translators notes out of ur head and read the official translation and see if that helps.
