I have an astraphobia too.. I actually didn’t realise it before, it’s just last year, when my boss was shocked of my reaction during thunderstorms. But in my case I am not afraid of thunders, just lightning. My boss asked me if I’m afraid of thunderstorms, so I answered, “I’m not afraid of thunder I’m afraid of lightning.” That was when I realise I have astraphobia.
