(Technically that's not frying but u can cook it with water) It's possible. It's a healthier alternative and it's easier to poach eggs that way. I still prefer fried tho
It’s to cook the top of the egg with steam. You fry the egg in oil/butter and when it’s almost done, add maybe a tablespoon of water & put a lid on so the top cooks without the bottom burning.
