Coming back here after rereading multiple times-
As someone who is closested. I most definitely understand the need to keep the relationship secret. Tbh it doesn’t mean that you’re ashamed of your relationship or your partner. It can also mean being afraid of society’s expectations of you and not fulfilling them or how the people close to you will react.
As long as you make an effort with and devote to each other, as long as you make sure your partner isn’t lonely and do things for them. There is no problem keeping yourself closeted. I think yall need to take a chill pill.
