Also the fact that the emperor is trying really hard is cute, I mean yes he’s five years to late, but he is trying really hard to be what they need. And at least he’s five years late and not 10-20 like some parents are. The fact is they are still children and he’s really trying his hardest to make them feel safe and loved and I admire him for that. My dad is all respect me but he wasn’t there when I was growing up, my mom and sisters raised us. Sure he’d watch us sometimes and he’s take us to his house once in a while, but we were often alone in that house bc of his work and we got into fights a lot. My dad was 10 or 11 years late, he didn’t raise us. Which is why I hold a lot of contempt toward him. Of course I care for him but I don’t respect or love him like I should. All because he wasn’t there. So I’m glad the kids are 5 years old when he fathers them, because five years late is better then 10 or 20.
