ok if we assume seiichi's memories are legit and she really tried to kill him (and shigeru) then i really don't wanna see this "no one's guilty" bullshit. yeah seiko was mistreated but was it her son's fault? was it shigeru's fault? just cause you have trauma and mental issues it doesn't give you a pass to harass others. i have a mental illness myself and i also have an abusive mother who had a harsh life so this manga hits a little bit close to home. you can feel sorry for her but you have absolutely no right to victimise her in this situation. yes, it's a complicated story reflecting on japan's approach to mental illness and womanhood but it also highlights the issue of child abuse so stop concentrating on how poor seiko is cause she's a woman who almost killed TWO children.

i called makima a bitch on the website with manga in my native language and got minused and attacked by her fanboys, i'm so glad that at least here people don't read manga with their assholes instead of eyes,,, i still like her as a chara tho cause i'm weak for female antags but when (if???) she dies i won't be really upset (unless there's some extremely tragic cliche backstory i guess but i hope that she's just evil cause she's evil, that would be cooler). if you like makima and don't think she's a bad person you simply look at her boobs or what, she's a manipulative and dangerous cunt, that's an objective truth.
