I was listening to a song and as Luke realized Aerinda was gone, the lyrics, "try to hold me back" played. The next (few?) Chapters are going to be one hell of a fight... assuming Luke is just in shock and not that Aerinda's disappearance caused him to lose (some of) his magic.

But seriously, why are we still out here fighting monsters, chasing after impossible, emotional fetch quests?!?

1. "Know your place" when the villain is so CLEARLY below the mc in status, let alone anything personality related.
2. And this is the one that irks me the absolute most... "How dare s/he take what's mine!" When the villain in question is not only talking about a person, in a society where the practice of slave ownership is clearly illegal; not to mention, they're not in any kind of personal relationship with the person in question, let alone one with any kind or romantic tones, under or otherwise!

I've never understood why scars always look like that in Manga/anime styled art. If anything, they'd generally lighter than the original skin and don't look like a tear, but are more bumpy looking usually, although I do have a few that do look like the area was carved out, but it's still most often lighter in my observations.

In Korea, an 89-year-old grandmother thought she would enjoy a heavenly rest in this world and relax...
