Like really! What the fuck is wrong with these people. "Wah wah, I didn't get to kidnap, abuse, and let this poor young man get his life absoutely destroyed by a psychopathic asshole all just to make my stepson sad and no longer get the position in life that was his by birthright. Wah wah I couldn't force MY kid into said position that he previously held because I was being too quick to judge the kid who actually deserved the position in the first bloody place. I just wanted MY kid to the special snowflake I know he is, even if the position I want him to fill is already taken.
Gawd I just REALLY DESPISE all of the parents in this. Well, all of Shin's parents and their peers that is. The hierarchy of this is so incredibly fucked!
