I havent read all the chapters so I'm wondering if there's any way to bypass this "can't lie gene" ? I mean, aside from the genetic mutation, can u bypass the rule in some other ways - like writing a lie down, or hypnotize a person into saying a lie
Since he's such a weak and sensitive person, I too couldn't help but share the same insecure his friends were having about each choice and impact they are making in his life. I keep feeling like one wrong word from them and the guy can just vanish into thin air - he is the classic example of a depressed and suicidal person - bright, likeable guy with cheerful disposal but extreme sensitivity and low self esteem.
Also, because I too understand how ugly depression can be and how vulnerable a person can get under its influence, seeing the main guy acting the way he acts was painful and uncomfortable. I guess it means the author did a good job in creating the characters.
A romance where the male lead acknowledges the female lead's capability and truly treat her with respect ? A relationship building where each "stage" doesn't seem forced or overly dramatic but still very much entertaining? This one got it all!
Neither of the main characters are frustrating, they are very capable adults with entertaining personalities and characters of their own. Really a refreshing and quality read ლ(´ڡ`ლ)
I didn’t mean to dislike.... I agree. There’s no intimacy (yet), and it feels totally natural! Minus the boss’ clinginess and telling her what to do.

Who goes to confront a trafficking organisation with literally no information like this? She knows nothing about them - and she just breezes into their hideout - and expect to find her brother in there? This is beyond even manga logic, just plain dumb and boring.
The character development (weak > OP) and the game-like fantasy setting was done really well here. None of the characters are annoying, and thank god THERE IS NO HAREM. can anyone recommend something similar?
Well for me this manga is the best of the best in terms of story, MC, and the no-romance plot. The closest I can think of is A Returner's Magic Should Be Special (link: http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/a_returner_s_magic_should_be_special/).

this is surprisingly good - the characters are fascinating to watch - the no cover thing almost put me off and I'm glad i didn't pass by this masterpiece
its so different. the storyline is amazing. the characters are distinctive and interesting - Heck, even the wrestler guy who only got mentioned briefly seemed like an interesting character. Good manga. the only bad thing is waiting for the new release since its still on-going
