In my opinion, they are kinda similar based on vibes. Both manhwas give off dark BL energy. They both have dark psychological undertones, they have atmospheric intensity throughout some of the chapters, and they have morally grey characters meaning both stories have themes of violence and trauma. If you're asking if they're similar in plot then no, they're entirely different.
The Hounds of Sisyphus is mostly centered around an apocalyptic genre while Swallow You Whole is mostly centered around Gods, supernatural themes, and is an omegaverse. Their relationships are also very different with THOS's main couple being tied together through trauma and reluctance while SYW's main couple is beast/human sacrificial.
Both manhwas are very well-written though and it's worth checking out. Hope I explained it thoroughly (⌒▽⌒)!

I'm really confused by most people's reactions here. Yes, this was unnecessary scene, but are we gonna pretend like SA didn't happen since chapter 1? Is Mugo the exception to the rule? Cuz he literally does the same thing.
I wanted to read about other topics but there's barely any comments like that. It's hypocrite of yall to be somewhat ok with Mugo and at the same time condemn the evil spirits or whatever.
Anyway, I hope Mugo treats ML better this time cuz I've been waiting for this moment. I just want to see their romance progress in a healthy manner somehow. And I'm glad ML is not stupid about his situation as a sacrifice.
