because it's funny, but it still bugs me that the dude slept with other ppl when he already knew he loved the Doc.
Fine, he was sexually frustrated and technically, they weren't a couple, but come on...
You tell someone you love them, so, naturally, that's your cue to not do other ppl. Call me old fashioned.........
Someone below pointed out that he did that because he was protecting the Doc... that actually makes it worse if that's the case.
And omg, the Doc was so adorable.
Normally, I don't like the extremely young he-looks-like-he-should-be-in-elementary-school-character types, but this one you just want to hug tight.

You...you've spoken the words of my heart! You are not old fashioned my friend, or if you are, we'll be old fashioned together! And there's nothing wrong with being old fashioned anyway, so there! *sticks tongue out at the world*. I was actually pretty upset, myself. Would have been worse if he was cheating, but it still left a bad taste in my mouth :'(

Oh, come on. Yaoi mangas are full of ukes who sleep with other people even when they have met or know that they have feelings for the seme and no one has a problem with that. Oneda Ku's , for example, are full of that. But when you have a seme doing the same thing everyone seem to find if unacceptable.

I would generally agree with you , but in this case I felt a bit bad for Riichi . But , I'm quite old fashioned as well . Riichi is used to the Yakuza lifestyle of violence , sex , etc. and pure love was a first for him , and even that didn't seem to be working out . He was going to give up on it several times in the manga . So I think for him , being in love that wouldn't bear fruit was not worth holding out for . Though , I do agree with you and can completely see where you're coming from . This is just my personal perspective ...

Ummmmmm....no. I don't read those ones where the ukes sleep with a bunch of other people who they don't know or when they already have feelings for the other lead because it doesn't matter who sticks what where, it's just an attitude that upsets me. Double standards are NOT okay! If this was real life, I wouldn't judge them, they can do what they want. But that doesn't mean I like or approve of it and want to read it for my own entertainment.

I agree that I have seen a few comments like that, but they are actually in the minority. Most people are quite supportive towards ukes majority of the times. If an uke decides to sleep around despite knowing that he has feelings for someone else, they are actually quite supportive. Even if he is deliberately leading the seme around knowing that he has feelings for him. But a seme on the other hand? { http://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/tokoro_de_ima_ha_nanbanme_deshou_ka/} just read the comments on the agree section. People are absolutely pissed even though they aren't even dating each other.

get a wave of complaints that not much was happening in Nemu/Maya relationship or something?
I mean, we went from having to worry about Maya's dad, to now having to (again) worry about Ruka.
This all happened within a short period of time (IMO).

[Small possible Spoiler Alert of new chapter)
[[ Now, Nemu lost his ring, Ruka implied heavily that Maya stayed @ his place, plus, right before that chapter ended, Nemu confronted Maya and asked where he was that morning.
I THINK he was a little sad too that Maya didn't react a certain way after he told him about his ring being lost.
Again, I THINK.
Honestly, I'm just basing all of this off of Google Image translator, so I really don't know if the translation was even right, so I sincerely do apologize if this is all wrong and to please forgive me.......... ]]

My problem is that we all know NemuxMaya have a lovey-dovey relationship, BUT, Nemu STILL suffers from insecurities; especially if it deals with Ruka.
Sure, Nemu hangs out with Ruka too, but their closeness level isn't nearly the same as the closeness that Ruka and Maya has.
When Maya was looking for a place to stay, he declined Ruka's invitation because he knew Nemu's reaction.
Well, actually...... first, he was happy of the invite.....then he declined.......
Anyway... Nemu then admitted to him that he did NOT want Maya to stay @ Ruka's.
It's not that he doesn't trust Maya and Maya himself said in the past that once he dates someone, he doesn't cheat on that person, but Nemu is still Nemu.
This is his 1st ever relationship.
A relationship with an attractive guy who catches everyone's attention with his looks and personality.
A guy who he knows doesn't share the same common interests either.
He also remembers the heartbreak of seeing Maya in bed with a girl (this was before they officially became a couple).
Plus, he's been thinking lately how he wants Maya to say, I Love You, back.
He knows Maya is shy about it, but I'm sure it still hurts him a little.
Sure, Maya was a total dick at first, but Nemu changed him.
However, deep down inside, I sort of want to believe that we are all misunderstanding Ruka's intentions.
He's really sick and knows that he can't do a lot of things, so he sees Maya as his Savior, of sorts.
Yeah, Ruka seems to have A LOT of connections, but that doesn't mean he's actually friends with any of them.
If Ruka really does have romantic feelings for Maya, the story is going to feel out of sync for me.

that almost all of us want to see Asami and Aki FINALLY reunite, but just think of the amazing reunion sex between them.
In vol. 5, their reunion sex was sort of about comfortable familiarity, longing and even passion (I mean, Asami cried out Aki's name, ffs).
Their next reunion sex, I hope, will be even more amazing and passionate.
They both still have a long road to go before that happens though. LOTS of obstacles will be in their way, not only caused by Sudou and his pissed off former business partners, but also by Sakazaki (you know that little special request Aki granted him to get info will come back and bite him in the a**).
And this may sound random, but you know who I want to see returning? Yoh.
Honjou is freakin' HOT!
The chibis...so adorable, lol.
For the story, the pacing bugged me. It felt rushed and not really a lot of character emotion?
However, I do see myself reading it a couple times more.
Not a bad story, just wish there was more oomph.
