Hm... you are free to have your opinion... put from what I got from the plot in general it's kinda like the opposite of it? Mc is basically a fck boy that puts effort into being popular with women that gets p!ssed at one of those self insert authors after learning about one of those novels from one of his girls... ends up into the novel and gets even more p!ssed after finding out that the novel was going the harem route when the ogmc did 0 effort to get woman after him and get them easy just because the author wants so.
So... to me it makes more fun of the cringe self insert fantasy instead. And while I do overlook the smut because... yeah... it's bad... the overall plot is interesting and is nice to read about trash mcs at times. He is trash, he knows he is trash and keep being so anyway...

I can't say much cuz originally I started reading it out of spite and was going to do the same... read a couple chapters and cuss it. But the story end up more entertaining than expected and I've read it all in one sitting... xD
And honestly it wasn't even the explicity of the cover that bothered me... it was her face.this kind of ahegao face really irks me... to be more specific her face plus the humiliating and exposing pose. It just doesn't look good or pleasurable... at least to me. Tbh ahegao faces look more like I'm about to puke than I'm cmng to me... and like... you don't see this face in guys... unless the bottom of bls... if it was a face of pleasure you'd see it on the ones doing the fckn to right?
And there's people saying there's more explicit bl covers and if it was bl no one would say nothing but... I don't remember seeing one like that... with the bottom exposing themselves making poses while the top is touching their holes... even if it's barely covered. And honestly... if I saw I'd skip it... shame kink and humiliation through smex ain't my cuppa tea... even more so when it's not even on a bdsm setting...
