I regret ever reading this. It was incredibly hard to get through and super triggery. I ended up hating pretty much every character. Even Minhye compromised her values... Such a disappointment. There's a different between toxic and twisted. You can write a toxic character without them being so fuckin twisted it ruins the story. And for that to be the case for nearly all the characters?
Yeah, I think I'm done with this. Not enough plot development and too much banging. ┑( ̄Д ̄)┍
I just personally feel that smut can take away from the story. I think showing love scenes is very important with lesbian lit, but it should be done tactfully. I don't feel this particular yuri does that. I think it could have been great, but the premise is lacking stamina and it's substitute is smut. But if you like it, then good. To each their own.
I think they should just stay friends, tbh. It'd be very different from the typical yuri and interesting. They could be each other's support if either of them end up in actual serious relationships. One may be already, but in the end, I think it would be an interesting twist. There just aren't enough examples of queer women having the strong friendships they can truly obtain in yuri which I think is a real let down. It's almost always all about the romance when so much can really happen in lesbian stories.
This has taken a turn I don't like at all. I understand introducing her ex just to create some conflict, but did the conflict have to be cheating? Maki deserves better. Finally found a manga with an androgynous lead and now so much of the story has been shifted away from her and to Liz's conflict. A conflict she created by cheating one a really amazing person. This is beyond confusing and Liz is no doubt the epitome of crazy if she thinks anything with her ex will change. (〜 ̄△ ̄)〜
