It's not a yaoi for sure. The genre is shounen-ai, though I don't know if this webtoon is being censored or not (u know China doesn't want to see BL, so kiss, skinship, ... is prohibited, authors don't have choice unfortunetly).
I hope they at least at some point ackwoledge some type of feelings? like at least a confession i hope :c
The story is heavily focused on the plot with sparkles of BL affection between the emperor and the prime minister, plus a side couple and a tragic one. Up to the 125th chapter the relationship hasn't progressed to intimate skinship, but it has surely progressed a lot from the start
shounen-ai is under boys loves category just like yaoi does, which is still mean it should have boys love in it. has for china, if they could put love parts in other comics, I"m sure they can put it here too ╮(￣▽￣)╭
But if this person hopes for yaoi, it's not. No sex like in yaoi. As for BL, It depends of the interpretation of each person. Two boys in love (or two persons in love) can show their love in different way. Here it's subtile, like in the drama "the Untamed". No kisses, no sexual tension, but it's obvious from their stares/actions they love each other.
Though I'd hope for China to let their authors do what they want. It's still a pity to not see more skinship ╥﹏╥
well sure it has no sex, that's why it's not under yaoi from the start. it pretty obvious XD but love between man should still be there. well depends on the creator I guess.
here there is totally a sexual tension XD the emperor did show signs he is attracted to him physically known he was a male and got super jealous when other men touch him. has for our MC here, I"m sure he feels the same, just really really dense like many MC I saw in china novels. so it's not like untamed at all, not even close. read the comic of the novel Mo dao zu shi and you see much more love parts between them that wasn't in the live drama. like them sleeping together in the same bed etc.. maybe it will have a kiss, maybe not, but I"m sure they are attracted to each other even if we don't see the sex parts.
