The problem isn't the rape, it's that it's not being taken seriously.
The difference between this and Killing Stalking is that in KS rape is expected. Here? It's supposed to be a BDSM manga. BDSM's first and most important rule is CONSENT. Habing rape and passing it off as play completely misses the point.
Lmao but it was also clearly yaoi??? Stories can have more than one genre. Thinking it's not when the men x men sex scenes are one of the main points of the story is delusional.
Anyway I only compared it bc some comments below were all like "why do you have a problem with this and not killing stalking uwu" and well as you said it's because they're completely different and KS is meant to be fucked up.
Ahh I did... it is horror... it is psychological... but it's also... yaoi... did you not read all the chapters where yoon bun gets dicked??? There's plently of dark psychological uaoi out there they don't have to be in love to classify it as one. I know you hate comparisons, but harada's works, obey me, and some others are all psychological mangas where the characters arent in love but they're also yaoi. Bc clearly.
Not saying standalone horror can't have sex scenes, but it's all about direction. KS sex scenes are CLEARLY directed to seem kinky, not to depict horrifying rape or whatever. Believe me, I've read sex scenes in horror manga whose genre is plainly horror, there are no close ups of the dick going into the ass. That's clearly hentai/yaoi direction.
Am I the only one who genuinely doesn't hate Mr. Han? Like yeah he's a bit of a dick but I'm enjoyinghis character so far. The situation is frustrating but if anything it has more to do with Paran, who already knows Hwi is serious about him and is still hanging out with Mr. Han bc he was his crush, than with Mr. Han, who (from what we can see so far) is just trying to be better for the guy he likes.
Man I love the fucking names so much like we have fucking Dom Plower, Phil Mihole and now Jack Offer I'm losing it
