The fact that the seme has the AUDACITY to say he always does it with consent after he fingered someone who was literally passed out is so fucked. It's not like he predicted the uke would wake up in the middle of it. He was ready to do it with an uncouncious person.
I replied to 2 people and then just decided to make my own topic instead. I know it's fiction. It's still shitty fiction if it has someone falling in love with his rapist. It'd be differend if this was a psychological horror type beat, that I wouldn't mind, it's the fact that it's treated like it's no big deal bc it's just irresponsible as an author to do that. You can empatize with fictional characters for doing bad stuff, even like them.but it doesn't justify their actions. In any case I don't see why you would justfy this since it's just shitty writing, it's not even about what happens it's about how the author writes it. And don't worry lmao I won't keep reading but that doesn't mean I won't call out shit I don't like when I see it. It doesn't mean I'm pressed, I'm just expressing my opinion. Just like you are. In the end, guess what? I also read some rape pwp and don't care, bc it's not supposed to have plot, but this is supposed to have a plot and it's disappointing to see authors fall in rape tropes.
To the people thinking it's unrealistic that he's gonna go and fuck a bunch of dudes cause he's straight. He might be bi, sure, but even if he is straight, it is still very plausible. He clearly won't have sex with any of those men because he is sexually atraccted to them, but as a way to cope with his trauma. If you look at his porn, he is watching girls. It's not like he suddenly switched sexuality, but in chapter 6 it even adresses that he thinks exposing himself to his trauma will lower his anxiety, and that the pain and pleasure of sex/masturbation helps him be out of it for a while.
To those saying it just feels rushed and that not enough attention was put to his trauma. Yea, there's a timeskip, but it's easy to fill in the gaps for now, and idk if there are raws bc I haven't read them, but while reading this first couple of chapters it never gave me the impression that that was it for adressing his trauma, I automatically assumed we would go back to it later in the story, but at the end of the day it's BL, so it makes sense to first skip to the more BL-ish parts, which is fine by me since I personally do think the pacing is great so far, and I do think that that timeskip will be adressed in the future. Even if it isn't, the current timeline is still very much adressing his trauma and the way he's coping, and what we're seeing now of how he deals with stuff is just as interesting, sad, and important as what I imagine the timeskip was. Trauma can stay with you for a long time, and the ways you deal with it might change but I think whatever part he's in is equally valuable for the author to explore. At the end of the day, even if it is BL, it is still A LOT more focused on his trauma and how he tries to heal from it (even if this does involve sex, after all, he has sexual trauma) which I appreciate. I might be totally wrong and this might go to shit in the end but so far I think the author has done an amazing, realistic job.
"Thare's a think line between BDSM and crime," GIRL HALF OF YOUR MANHWA CROSSES THAT LINE BUT THE ONLY THING YOU SEE AS A CRIME IS WOOKYUNG KIDNAPPING MINHO???
The character descriptions really show how little the author realizes what happened to minho is wrong. I mean, calling Doona the queen of BDSM and a charismatic sadist? Does the author even know what BDSM is?
They had sex in front of his dad??? And the DAD RATED them???? THIS IS TOO MUCH
