I really like this but the way that the dialogue was handled after the antagonist showed up was so heavy-handed and unnatural that it kind of threw me out of the story a little.. luckily it was only like two separate scenes of strange info-dumpy stilted dialogue but it was so unexpected because I've read this author before and know they are usually much better at suble plot hint drops than that Σ( ̄□ ̄||)

It's been a while since I read the original but I do notttt remember anything about Dojun and Heesoo having a kid? All I remember is them talking about how they couldn't have one since Heesoo is a beta? Was there a chapter that I somehow missed where they adopted a kid??

Found it https://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/love_is_an_illusion/uu/br_chapter-160690/pg-1/
(it's just this one image) the plot of this side story it's only 107-108
I really wanted to like this, but I cannot get over the uke's personality. I know the humor in this one was very visual and over-the-top cartoony, but even then I just can't help but be put off by the uke. Him getting so violent over the littlest things, or even just getting too caught up in his own emotions and taking it out on the seme by hitting or kicking him, pushing him around and it being played off for laughs really made me uncomfortable. Especially bc the seme really does come off as a naïve pushover, so even if the uke tries to tone it down a bit later, the dynamic still feels off-balance ┗( T﹏T )┛
