When in the middle of reading, you see ''he growled'' like SIR, I was enjoying it until you decided to become an animal. It's not sexy, it's not funny it's cringe. Or ''he hissed 'what are you doing?''. Can we just lay off the animal sounds for a bit? There are so many alternatives, but you decided to ignore them.
