so... i saw a lot of comments mentioning that they dislike/hate/find the prince annoying, etc and im wondering why. if you just plainly prefer the garderner or want her to not end up with a relationship and maintain her friendship then i understand since i do like the garderner too (i mean...who doesnt right) but if you feel strong negative feelings towards the prince like i mentioned previously or strongly disagree on him being the ml i would like to understand why cause from what i see so far, he hasnt done anything that had made me view him in a negative way strongly but it coukd be different from others pov so i would like to understand
i don’t hate the prince either but i don’t necessarily like him either so i can see why many hate him. it’s not common in a lot of shoujo stories for the ml to be THIS hostile to the fl. he was very close to killing her a few times and he honestly could’ve handled the situation with less violence and less intent to kill her such as simply locking her up or smthn. he’s also rlly rude to her verbally and lacks affection. personally, i’m hoping the romance will improve and he begins to trust her more.
Least he’s not fake to her like he is to everyone else.

emperor is insecure cause our navier is so perfect at literally everything shes so capable of ruling the empire and all that he starts to feel insecure about himself thats why he starts comparing her to trashta like smth along the lines of "why cant she be as obedient as trashta" and why he kinda likes trashta because she strokes his ego while navier doesnt navier shines on her own shes a strong independant woman who dont need no man trashta on the other hand plays the role of a weak helpless woman who only knows how to cry, keeps praising him n is very amazed of him n needs his protection giving him a sense of achievement which navier doesnt give him hence he feels good around trashta n kinda likes her as the public knows but actually isnt romantically into her
now our boy heinrey on the other hand also knows that navier is perfect amazing capable blablabla but he knows how to respect her *spoiler-ish* so from some translations of the raws i saw somewhere, when she told him that she would be his queen after she overheard the emperor talking abt the divorce w navier to someone, he wants to turn his western kingdom into an empire because our navier deserves an empress title and no less she deserves all the authority and power and he is willing to work hard to be able to offer her those. navier's perfection n capability does not make him insecure but pushes him to work harder to match up to her. he is not like the emperor who wants navier to be weak and be protected by him he want navier to be in power and rule the empire alongside him (some stuff im saying are jus my interpretations and not that the translations for the raws actually said them)
