You can be given me 4 chapters of his backstory or 20 chapters. Nothing can change my mind. The trauma Ceasar has given to her across not one but two lifetimes will not disappear, even if anybody tries to appeal through his struggles. Nothing justifies the physical and sexual abuse he has inflicted upon her. You do not kiss forcibly, beat somebody, or tie them , even if same has happened to you.
And this latest chapter showed that he wasn't even a child when he starting doing this to her. He was a full grown adult ,I guess. So no , it's not childhood trauma , it's just his obsession for her.

I swear I have always thought that this was the most practical thing to do if u ever reincarnate and doesn't want to change the storyline. She even advised the fl about her potential relationship with the ml.. but we all know how it's going to end, so yeah , no hopes there..
