I would've given this a 5 but it left some unanswered questions that were present in the story. Like who was Karsus' father? Why did her power that was supposed to be great had been reduced to only rebuilding houses exactly? I wanted a bit more depth with some characters like Sica's brother since it'd had a more positive effect on the story. The plot was a bit complicated but it was so easy to understand since the pacing was good. Their "first ever" meeting really did remind me of Howl and Sophie which I didn't expect. It was a risky decision to add that but the author really did a good job. Their battle with the dragon didn't reach its potential in my opinion since it was kind of lackluster. Sica and Karsus complete eachother and you can tell they have a close bond. One of the reasons why I gave this story a 4 is because I felt like the ending needed something more that I cant pinpoint or the author atleast added extra chapters. The story was great nonetheless and I really enjoyed it and the art is beautiful. I did wish Karsus hair stayed short since it really suit him but LONG LIVE LONG HAIRED MALE LEADS!
