Yall are focusing too much on the romance of it all, they're both crazy!!! Wilhelm is hiding so much stuff its not even funny, and Rein's logic to interact with Will is so difficult to follow that I gave up and starte d being more interested in the psychological part of the story lol They're both regressors!!! why is he so obsessed?? And why is the FL so fucking bad at taking revenge lol djkffkkfg
I'm still annoyed at the "consent is key" bullshit Ulysses threw around. Sys was never about consent, him preaching about it now is making Randolph question everything and while I personally love the throuple Ulysses and his bodyguards (consensual), adding Randolph who is ALWAYS against the things that are done to him is just... extremely uncomfortable...
Exactly idk what the author is on cause he nailed the main couple but fumbled it these two so hard. Like individually they are good characters but we learn about their relationship and it just about sys kinks and how Randolph has to accept it. Like I hate it they make me feel icky. Sys in the bedroom reminds me of the old king :/
The last chapter was little cringe ngl lmaoo "oh yeah se caught a divine beast >:3" and the fckn emperor like "my daughter has won the HUNTING competition, where you HUNT, while she was seated :)" and then everyone applauded thats so cringeeeeee
I mean, I agree, but damn wasn't it a sweet cringe? Cringe that just made your heart throb? It's the most wholesome cringe on the market!
I think what happened actually does make sense for the story and I can't easily think of another outcome that would've been better, but God, the secondhand emberassment hit me hard. Not even for Blondina, but imagine that you're a divine beast right? And your ruler, the person your people rely on with their future, goes to the event hosted by the people you hate, where the objective is something your people look down upon, to flirt with the enemy's daughter of all people.
Yeah, well... I lost interest on chapter 45 onwards, mainly because it was clear that the ML would be Ruve. I skipped through some chapters and it is a disappointing ending. So much romance but at the same time not enough, she was oblivious to her male friends' feelings even tho it was clear as water.
No she is not the owner of her fate; she ended up as the empress anyways even though her training and studies focused on being a knight. It's sad to see that dream go to waste. In any case, we didn't see her capabilities as a swordmaster either, or her form change despite the rigorous training. Disappointing.
JUST TELL HIM OMG STOP WITH THE "WE GOTTA TALK" JUST TAAAAAALK JUST SCREAM IT OUT TO HIM OMGGGGGG
