What? I have read this story at least 5 times over so I don't think you can tell me that I don't understand it. I said there's a lot of misunderstandings to come. I never said that they were all created by the main characters.
However, the main misunderstanding that Jinnian doesn't like Anhao was created by himself. He never took the initiative to confess and his words when he was drunk stopped Anhao from trying to get closer to him. I didn't help at all that his parents hate him for being an illigitimate child and didn't want him to continue their family's name with Anhao's family.
People can be victims of their own misunderstandings...For example when they can't read the situation and/or make their own assumptions. Mmkay?
