Really one of my OG BL out there, but this is the first time I’m writing anything about this manga I think. I still love it even after years of first reading it. Keisuke and Masayuki are my precious bois !! (Tho kei def comes first I’m sorry)

We don’t talk about the Katsumi and the doctor tho, but that age gap is criminal and fucking unreal. Same goes to Hosaka and Miyoshi (reread jackass cos I didn’t remember them in their spin-off) with them having a 20 year age gap while Miyoshi was still just a high school student just made me T^T

I haven’t read a bl manga like this in awhile and reading this feels so light and tender while still being realistic. Despite having not put labels upon their relationship, you can really feel a deep connection and affinity towards each other. This needs more updates !!

Man I really loved this story when it first came out and it has so much potential (I even rated it 5 stars lol) but I didn’t really expect the author to take the male leads with toxic, noncon tendencies route, especially with kael. Ngl I was a duke lowe girlie (visual bias reasons) but mister has got to stop non-consensually touching my boy JINSOO DESERVES BETTER he might as well just go to the wolf knight

This wasn’t bad for a short read. I wouldn’t outright call it psychological or rather it’s not as good as other psychological stories, but it’s nice that toxicity is evident and isn’t romanticized (like a lot of BL).

The art is so pretty, I especially love how the author draws such good expressions through their eyes, but I say it isn’t that well-written pertaining to the spy/undercover agent aspect of the story. Yes, this mission is above his qualifications, but I think it’s basic to have a sense of caution and danger which I think Taekjoo lacks and is pretty important to his profession. He divulges information/observations too easily to strangers and trusts too much knowing all too well that his partner is a powerful, violent, crazy, and sadistic russian man. Other things I didn’t like was the straight sex cos I definitely did not come here for that and I’ve also been lightly spoiled by the comments so I’m not sure if I have the heart to continue and see what becomes of Taekjoo in the end.

MANS WAS A SIMP FROM THE START HAHSHDHAHA I did not expect that, but I thoroughly enjoyed the inner man vs. himself argument he was having lmfao sex scenes were really good too, annoyance to lovers trope has all the good tension we’re looking for.

Even though this was kinda fucked up for the first two chapters (expected from an asada nemui work). They were pretty cute afterwards and I loved Ma-kun’s expressions lmao if you’re expecting really explicit sex from this, don’t, there is none.

Love the steamy scenes and you’re really here for a short and good time (I hate it when smut/pwp goes for more than 10 chapters *looking at a lot of korean BL*). There were problems with consent at first when rin wanted to back out (as usual with japanese BL lol), but overall it progressed okay.

This manhwa got so frustrating after the earlier half of season 2. I wouldn’t call this slow burn anymore if they’re taking a step back whenever they take a step forward or not take a step at all. Their relationship is losing momentum and it’s like the author is just avoiding to address the problems in their relationship by choosing sex as a band-aid solution and introducing other drama that’s probably not as relevant to the hyunsoo and youngchan’s relationship.

This is one of the hottest manhwas I’ve ever encountered in my life like their sex is so crazy hot with an A+ plot. I want this to be made into a live action so bad.
