ignoring his politically married wife isn't a malicious move. obsession for a male lead that's very green has becoming weird. is a man not allowed to have trauma and keep it to himself he owed no one to explain not until the trust between them grows. so def he didn't owe it to the OG either.
he was very nice already he gave her all she supposed to get as lawful wife, didn't restrict her movement, didn't cheat on her, didn't abuse her or his child. likened his action to incel is such a karen move or whatever female equivalent of incel is. contexts matter. real incel would do worse
aside from that, child neglect is bad but even the nicest parents can still do it unknowingly, not all parents able to do it right the first time especially when the child is an accident or even worse. noah was finely clothed and well fed something that can be envied already by a lot of children. ofc child neglect is still bad and he need to atone or make up for it. i am not child neglect apology. however understanding and support can be given to changing parents so they can do better instead worse.
as from events in OG story, it all happened due to the OG plot so in my mind those OG characters before MC appeared were like puppet following a script. and there's no need to count about what could have happened. just think of it like parallel world.
anyway dont make the expectation of ml become as toxic as toxic masculinity. btw there's also similar story from the rofan webtoon side, become a Cinderella step mother something. i think it's received well.
ofc i know not everyone think this male lead is completely bad, but i see no one defend him from being likened to incel using this reason so here it is. in case there will be new readers with such thought

oh it's actually a folk tale that kappa will take out a ball/marble (some sort spiritual thing) out of someone ass i forget for what. this is funny to children and so you know where the children gesture of stabbing someone's ass come from in anime/manga. if you want to see more, watch clip of saranzamai. it's a kappa magical boys anime

she could have changed the password but she didn't
maybe somewhere in her heart she thought it's not her place to do so... or maybe she just thought her brother really wouldn't come back based on hownnonchalant he was
i can guess that her brother cared about her a bit but he didn't know how to communicate it, or perhaps he didn't even realize he cared.
anyway i can guess he will do something that sabotage her instead. bro gonna bring trouble

The art has always been above average compared to other chinese bl webtoon and miraculously it improve a lot instead of deteriorating. The premise of the story is very interesting, a host and a villain system aren't something new but many people still love it including me.
This story is carried by its art, paneling, main characters, and many originalities however there are still a lot of shortcomings.
to name a few
(1) the story telling/exposition can be better, especially for readers who aren't familiar with the concept of transmigration, system, host, etc. it's already pretty confusing even for readers who already used to it. and it's not only due to translation mistakes. another weird thing is, the author's choice to make the main characters are so into their roles in each world even if they both already know that they aren't their roles. if you pay attention sometimes it's like the "role" is the main personality who "happen" to remember that they also a host in the bigger universe. from time to time they will regard the "role" first before the person inside.
I used to think it's cool how dedicated they are but as the story goes it just feel off in some scenes. it just pretty unusual choice as other transmigration story i usually to read dont do it this confusing.
(2) unusual kink(s). i know it's big part of wang yi's personality but after the plot become heavier i feel these stuff aren't that important anymore. i looked back at so many past scenes that make use of these and feel those plot are dumber/cringier than i remember and prolly can be changed into something else more general and important. many hot scenes are also bdsm made friendlier. so i actually have wild thought that this story is either secretly made for people who is into it OR thought that all readers actually secretly into it to some extent.
(3) too many de-age-ing plot, although it's normal to start a new life from young again, it does feel too many if every arc will have children (especially Qin) in it. Author seems to idealize children. they aren't sexualized imo, but it also depends how deep in the gutter the readers' mind are. author just bait them. this def shota friendly work.
(4) romance. it's crazy i write it as weakness. as much as i love their dynamic their love feel too philosophical sometimes. it's like the feeling of love itself is being sensored sometimes. crazy right.
nevertheless as long as the art is gorgeous, the premise is interesting, the plot feel fresh, the characters are hot and into each other consensually, the webtoon is a masterpiece. it's impossible to abandon this story completely or saying that i dislike it. because i do love the art, the premise, and wang yi.
on another side, i actually can think of other chinese bl story i enjoy more but with a lot less gorgeous art which probably why they dont feel as impressive as this one

i really like the female lead. this is like a parody or a story with stereotypical mc. it's fun to have this kind of story sometimes but like others similar story it ended up being too serious so the MC ended up being the really odd one. her fiance is originally okayish af least suitable for her because he didn't hate her hobby so i fogave him for having a tad bit generic personality (that sadly not even stereotypical of something, just lukewarm). however as the story went he became more annoyed with FL's antics. that such a bad move from author to make the one reason why he attracted to her being shaken. the foundation no more. even from far away (i am still at chapter 18) i already can imagine their unhappy marriage and divorce. now author probably will use magic of plot to not make it ended up that way. nah no way. also i thought it began to get boring since they proclaimed their love too early but it was actually a hint that something wrong going to happen in their relationship huh
i see couple with bigger problem that still wont break up, even a lot of married couple have that kind of dynamic where the husband busy working and the wife takes care of the house and nagging the husband, then they barely eat together and communicating but they still together (marriage is harder to break off). so i actually kinda kudos for tsukushi to call bullshit on it. Although it's better to communicate it first.
toui lowkey gives a vibe of minor inattentive adhd, or are stereotypical novelists like that? hyperfocused on their work and forgetting to take care of themselves and looking around their surrounding. anyway whatever it is, i can relate to it
ah what i meant is i dont see it that unrealistic for them to be back together bc the things that made them break up isn't as worse as some stuff like cheating or being overly possesive and oppressive, gambling being alcoholic or lending a big amount of money. well people can break up from very minor things too but they also can go back together for a minor thing too. in the first place they really love each other and have been together for four years
