Why in story with straight bottom the top has to come out strong, sometimes it 'feels' manipulative, forceful, gaslightung etc etc. As if, if the gong didnt act like that the shou will never bend... imagine if it's the opposite, a woman comes out strong to a gay man and straightened him, wow i will be so mad.

Well i can see how it is going, gong will save shou several times and then made shou realize how indebted he is and also realize he couldnt be without him. That's just so overdone no matter how interesting the plot is. I probably still check this bc I like the art.

I think your take is also interesting, though I dont remember if it ever mentioned that zx is straight? since he doesnt show any interest in the opposite sex (but correct me if Im wrong if it was indeed stated from prvs chapters) and if he falls in love with ML then that doesnt make him bi and not str8? A cis person would always be a cis person, if somehow he changed his sexual preference and ‘suddenly bent’ then hes not really str8 at all, but queer and it is normal to discover your sexuality or gender even late in life. Just like myself, I have always thought I am cis, grew up with heteronormative mentality but now I came out as ace, discovered it when Im finally an adult.
I also haven’t encountered a story wherein a gay man falls in love with a cis woman bc that would never make any sense at all? unless hes also bi or pan. But yea this concept is maddening
I just think the zx doesnt think much about romance as of the moment and the ML coming out strong is bc he really really likes the MC and hes not afraid to show his affection. Personally, I really like this flavor of MLs. And sometimes there is really this person who will be your sexual awakening. But this is also just my own take on their dynamic.

I don't dislike either plot but her personality in VR world is so plain, so unenthusiastic, while irl she's so much alive. it's not fun following a gamer who play like they're just in motion. it's not the problem of plot.
I don't think ruri is the culprit who killed arika.
I think it was someone else who pushed Arika and ruri just happened to see her fell. but bc she didn't like arika she reacted slowly. since this going to be a big scandal and she could be the main suspect she decided to hide the body. i often saw story went like this. beside it's too easy for ruri to appear as the main criminal. and there are too many shots of her if she was a totally bad guy. i just feel that the vibe of this manga is not like that. I expected a scene ahead to try to make her a more sympathizing character like with chihiro (but honestly i wont ever sympathize with her).
although in the end she still did the crime of hiding someone's body and didn't report it. so if it found out she won't get away jail time either.
oh yeah i forgot, it's also possible that it's an accident... but it's also possible someone scared her to that point.. or it's a fight which led to that accident.
It is really fun but the lack of focused plot sometimes make me bored.
