Honestly, the only thing saving this whole story is the art style. The artist really needs to find a good writer to work with, and fast! Maybe Lily’s just got some serious unresolved issues? Who knows. Either way, this whole mess isn’t worth digging into too much. I’m just glad Anna managed to dodge a bullet.

The idea that both parents would pretend the other is dead and keep it from their child is just mind-boggling. I mean, I know it’s fiction, but could something like that even happen in real life? What were they fighting over that would push them to such extremes? It’s not just unrealistic, it’s actually pretty cruel to the kid. Imagine what that does to their emotional well-being. That said, I can’t deny it’s a gripping plot—it definitely keeps you on edge. But honestly, I still can’t wrap my head around why they’d make those choices.
