Hey, I've read official translation up to chapter 46, and all the erotic scenes that are in the manhwa are missing in the novel. Are they present in the MTL version? Is the official translation being censored?

Yeah, like literally all they did was kissing. I strongly suspect censorship. Which is messed up because I paid for a TL and it's censored??? Also the official is only up to ch 46 which will correspond to the end of season 1 of manhwa. I spent 10€ unlocking the chapters. Such. A. Waste!
The translation is whack. You know how in korean they skip pronouns and you have to know who is doing what based on context? So the TL is so dumb they mix up "I" and "he" ALL THE FCKING TIME. So for example it says Youngwon sat down where it's obviously supposed to be I sat down. And it's so annoying because I had to second guess everything.
Also the translation itself kinda feels like AI generated because they use so many fancy posh outdated words, there is no way in fucking hell college students talk like this! Example of a conversation:
"I fail to comprehend why you choose to rest in such a place. It lacks warmth. But must the lights remain illuminated?"
"I am unperturbed. I am not presently in slumber," he responded.
"But if you don't extinguish the lights..."
"I shall attend to it later," he assured.
"Very well"

You get it, right? The official TL is on wordexcrept. And it's shit. Imma read the MTL version and maybe give you an update later if it's any different.
Also tbh, some of the chapters feel better translated than the others in the official TL. But I am personally very picky about translation work (I am a translator) and I think an official TL where a translator gets fucking paid to translate should not be on the level of high school homework for a language subject.
Regarding the plot, novel has more detalis and there are slight differences I wish were included in manhwa. But, hey, at least manhwa has more erotic scenes and

a sex scene at the end of season.

The MTL is honestly a better and more comprehensive translation lmao. Nevertheless, I just wanna share a gem of the MTL. It was during the first erotic scene where Youngwon was sucking Hohyun's nipples. It gave me whiplash tbh. It's a direct quote so don't come for me, m'kay? So here it is:

MTL is machine translation and TL is translation. I've read official TL that was under paywall and it was censored, full of mistakes and barely coherent. Now I'm reading MTL and it has it's whack moments but at least it's not censored, more coherent and free. Even though there are gems like oompa loompa fan hole (probably asshole I guess) or whatnot.
