Is it weird that after binge reading this chinese manhwa, i still dont understand the male lead? he was so intent on making her life so miserable to the point he had threatened her family and other important persons but then it all ended up being an issue of possessing her everything. I mean, i was under the impression that he wanted revenge then it all change to liking her and becoming obsessed. Can i consider this as “a fine line between hate and love”? Hahaha. Or he’s just downright psychotic? Sorry, im kind of slow on reading between lines.

Pretty sure it was that black thing that showed up on her when her ex put the magical handcuffs on her. Once Izumi came, it went into his hand and faced from Maize's so maybe it was something like a tracking spell and that's how he found her? Just a guess

I think what he meant by that is that the people of the empire believe and will do anything to serve the heavenly god (ex: Jesus) as he was the one who created everything from the start. But that also means that Lavane was also created by god, and he can only do so much compared the the real god.

I think it is mentioned in previous chapters that the "ancient gods" were actually ancient/evil beings that human considered as gods because they didn't know any better. The real god is probably the actual thing.

I actually hate how close this story hits to home granted the MC and I have different circumstances. I’m a post graduate student and the competition in term of study have never been easy, everyone is amazing and very talented and here I am wondering why I even bother. You worked so hard but then the results shows minimal achievement or none. Kept failing and kept wondering.
Although people and friends can always say the words the ML says, its usually on the person if they want to do something about it or not. Really, MC is so relatable. Go MC!
