so i saw this edit on tiktok about this romance manhwa and a bit of a background check about this manhwa is—
its about the fl who's reading a book and she loves the second ml in that book and then sadly she died and was given a chance to be inside of the book! The timeline in that book when she went inside was already the end and the second ml already fell in love with the original fl but yk the original fl is already married and stuff but she still thought "i still want to marry the second ml and make him happy!"
and this edit is about the ml's POV where he visited the original fl and saw her bedridden and he thought "If I were her husband, I won't let this happen to her" take note that he's already married with the fl (through arranged marriage, the fl pulled some strings ) and they're kinda developing romance already since the fl did her best to treat him better
and the comment was like "girl leave him!" or "she deserves better" and I understand that! I mean, c'mon who would want their partner in love with someone else??
but also, just because the fl loves the ml and treated him better than the original fl could ever do doesn't mean he's obligated to love her? You can't force love can you? Just because the other one treated you any better than the one you love doesn't mean you can just switch who you love? I mean, you don't love the person by what they can provide but because you love the person themselves do you?
and the ml learned to love the fl afterwards and they live happily ever after yet the comment's still say that they're not satisfied and he doesn't deserve her. Can't they accept a flawed ml who's in the process of moving on when the fl just came and gave them love they didn't ask for? He loves someone else! Why do these guys expect the ml to immediately come to love someone when they're still moving on?? Not sure if the one that commented those are still kids or maybe they're not matured enough just yet to understand the male lead.
anyway, what do you guys think?
