Turtle's Manga

I really wanted to like this but all the allegories to British imperialism as a good thing, calling a group Moors who bring in disease from the “black continent” to “Hindia” this just gave me the ick. The world building doesn’t actually provide a commentary on reality like fantasy and sci-fi is meant to rather it idolizes it. This really fell flat for me since I couldn’t appreciate the characters and plot development since it had these weird drawbacks taking me out of the story
