I think people are upset cuz we didn’t get a lot of answers and we got a bs happy ending after all that carnage and death. Gege barely stuck to the theme lol. We never got an explanation for yuji’s parents, we never even got the name of yuji’s domain expansion. It would’ve been very full circle and more on brand if yuji ended up dying as he was destined to from the beginning. I don’t think it’s necessarily the “ending” itself but more so the events leading up to it and how nothing was really answered. Gege kills off every fan favorite in the series and then is like “La la la happy ending” like it didn’t feel very on plot for me. But this is all my opinion, I think we could’ve gotten a couple more arcs before the series was over to make it feel a little more finished and less rushed
