I think Asahi just want's to tease Masato. And as for saying why he is Naru's best friend, it's because Naru likes teasing other people as well. So in conclusion both Naru and Asahi really like to tease/annoy other people. And well, Masato can be quite easily teased in this case, because he's not so open about his relationship in front of other people. Especially with those that he's close to. At least that's what I think. ╮(￣▽￣)╭

I don't think he had any feelings for him expect respect and admiration, and I think what he meant is that he wanted to feel special from the person he admires alot and the thing he wanted that can't be bought with money is related to the previous leader and his loyal dog and his little brother and his cute boy "the other couple", When the previous leader gave the other seme the boy and said he'll be loyal pet or something
So what kiriya really wanted was a family or even one person he can belong to and feel attached to, because his family situation you can see thay clearly when he remembered how his stepmother protected her son and not him

I think Kiriya was looking for a place where he can belong coz his dad pretty much disowned him. He thought that being accepted by Katsuya into his yakuza family and being chosen as the next heir would give him a place to belong. But Katsuya died before formally acknowledging Kiriya as the next in line for head, and Kiriya ended up becoming head only because the brother didn't want the post. I think he mentioned in some panel right after Katsuya's death that he didn't want to get the position like this (because of Katsuya's death) but wanted to be chosen by him instead.
Who's that guy with the goatee that slept(?) with Shikatani and why haven't we seen him and the guy with black hair every since the flashback and the picture that was shown in one of the previous chapters? Are they from some other work of the Author that hasn't been translated yet? Like after seeing everything that's going on with Shikatani, i just hope that there is going to be some sort of love interest coming into the story that cares for him and gets him out of this toxic situation, since it seems like the childhood friend only sees him as a good friend.
the guy w the goatee is akisawa, who was a senior when itome, shikatani, and akemi were first years, and the black-haired guy is minami (was also a senior). they've both graduated but minami will prob come back since he has a history w akemi.
when it comes to shikatani's love interest, my bet's on itome, but i'm one of the only people who ship them together :')

He like's his emotionless expressions. How he looks at people as though he's better than them. And how he doesn't seem to care about the world or what it has to offer. Or his lack of interest in it. Because of this Taekyung wants to draw out more complex emotions from Haesoo. He wants to see a different side of him. He's curious.

if i remember correctly, the authors in chapter 37.5 said that the first season was a long prologue of the “real” and “true” story, so i think season two will be waaaaayyy longer (〜￣△￣)〜
