Right? On the roof in chapter 8, he says they have something terrifying and it flashes to the ML "if he says they will move tonight then they will" - it feels like the ML is keeping the group alive by seeing the future and moving where the horde doesn't go!
All i can say is that the translation is wrong.
It's supposed to be like "you were suppose to kill him this time, that's why i gave you the knife to do so"

Girl, he's "reformed" because he's happy he had unconsenting sex with a sleeping person. Now I'm not a stickler for consent in a story but it is baffling how out of touch this webtoon is. The story's atmosphere doesn't match what's happening at all and it's downright creepy framing this as the happy after story.
Her stories were really special to me in the yaoi community, the beast must die was super a masterpiece. I hope she has a happy life despite her health. Goodbye, author（/TДT)/
Not to excuse it but if you really don't like "the way this story is going" - why did you guys pick it up in the first place? The very first scene in the very first chapter is the ML raping the MC whilst chained up. It's been very clear where this was going from day one. Could you not think "ahh maybe this isn't the story for me" 20 months ago?
And I just wanna be clear that it's ok to hate this story. It's okay to hate any story. But you really don't have to read things like this if they trigger you. There's plenty of yaoi out there to read instead that can spare your mental health. Don't force yourself to read things like this hoping it will get better because now you've spent years of your life on this and you're unhappy.
