I cried, a lot and like a baby. I love this, I love the characters and every single chapter was just beautiful. The story of the king was heartbreaking but I loved it nonetheless. Beautiful manga. I'm not that into Bara but this was even more beautiful than many others I have read. Beautiful art and plot. Five starts immediatly.

I know I'll get some hate because of this comparison but I couldn't help it. Have some of you read Fushidara na...? Well I love Ayumi, hot as hell. But I always will choose Asami as the best hot and beautiful character seme he is. (Sorry english it's not my native lenguage). So, in the last chapter of Fushidara (25 I think) many people loves the character of Ayumi for not having angry sex with the uke, because he has confidence in the feelings of the uke for him. Which I think it's beautiful and the author did an amazing job at that cliche thing in the yaoi universe.
I couldn't help but compare it to Asami in chapter 47 or 48 (I dont remember exactly which one) but he had angry sex with Aki because he dissapeared for 3 days and Asami was doubting of Aki's feelings for him, so he had sex with Aki and both of them not quite revealing their feelings for each other. So, I felt so bad because of Asami, I know he is not perfect (well kinda) in his way of showing his feelings for Aki after a lot of things that happened and the character of Aki being very stubborn (which I dont blame because every one criticizes him for not being enough for Asami) doesn't help that much. I wish Asami would get the confidence necessary about Aki's feelings (and viceversa) so they wont fall in misunderstandings. I don't like that mamy people hates him because he is all "sex will fix everything". He has feelings but he hasn't quite received an honest response from Aki (maybe in the recent chapters he kinda did but still we haven't seen the answers from both parties). This is just my opinion, I love both mangas but of course each one is completely different and I love it. #－.－)
Aki is honest showing his feelings (without using words), is Asami who isn't aware of them oe doesn't give a s*&% about how Aki would feel.
In the chap. in which Takaba returns home to the penthouse, I see him, egging Asami on. to get that angry sex reaction. I think on some level Takaba likes that level of interaction on the part of Asami.( there was no fear in his eyes, not like with Sudo) In one scene in the manga Takaba tried to use handcuffs on Asami. he had to know he was making him angry. next morning Takaba says to himself, I want to stay by his side. the only point of view Asami really has had is in reactions to Takaba. for me, The way, she "talks" their feelings is how they act toward one each how they deal with the "little" bits if you will. Takaba moves in Asami decides to come home more often for dinner. Small touches the chapter which shows how Asami's life changed after Takaba moved in. forgive the rambling post. Both men are stubborn and strong and both have/had learned to give for the other on some level. this has been Taka's story very little Asami. His POV. we get pictures of Asami's reacting(.I don't think it is lack of confidence on Asami's part. Takaba is in the drivers seat.) But for my part I kind of like the way they"talk". with their actions. that is what drives this story.
I respect your OP. I just think that the complications of their relationship drives the story.
Actually I agree in some points with you and it's true that Asami takes the reactions of aaki in consideration. I love the fact that it's slowly but the small changes on both of them is very cute.
There are things that you said that I agree with also. It would be interesting to have more actual feed back from Asami , but he gets no real lines only reactions.
I kind of wanted to see Asami flirt, kiss and Seduce another beauty (That's what Yamane kind of did to the character Sudou) like the situation with Feilong I wish him to go beyond and mess he up, but he does not because Aki is all Asami wants and is crazy in love with him. The way that Yamane leads Viewfinder without giving obvious answers causes in the readers mixed feelings and is the cause of many debates (and often drives me crazy also because sometimes I want obvious answers to the plot, but I know that Yamane does not like it very much).
Perhaps this is the cause of the constant discomfort of many readers who complain about time and slow development, when in fact they are accumulating questions, they wanted to have an obvious response to the work (a declaration of mutual love between AxA) but they will not have and it gives half a disappointment.
The only problem is the slow development, it's Sensei's choice to accumulate questions to keep us interested in the story as a whole, it's not only about the relationship between Asami and Aki, this manga has so many interesting things in it.

As much I would like to see a confession between AxA, I love the slow plot that Yamane does. It's very delicate and her characters are so well made, I get stressed as well when people often wants a confession (which I dont argue either because inside of me I would lile to see that happen) I really like how everything is going. I'm glad I'm not the only one qho see it as well.

In all honesty I do feel and see asami show his feelings but I guess because he's never been the emotional type and having the power to control people and of having everyone do what he wants that sort of pride kinda gets in the way of slowing things down and understanding that takaba is a little bit different, that he has to slow down because deep down he's in love with takaba but doesn't have another way of sort of pursuing his feeling into existence and I kinda get the hint that asami is scared of falling into the emotional types because he regards them to be of a weakling and we see that in feilong as well. And also in the recent chaps feilong makes fun of asami because of his feeling of takaba and u can sorta see how his face or attitude is sort of saying to feilong "I'm not like you and that u r wrong" but feilong gets the idea that this man is actually capable of feeling of love and to me that's hella sweet. Bottom line asami is becoming someone that he used to despite and regard as weaklings and it's all thanks to takaba. Feilong is there to help guide asami and his feelings of takaba. So he does love takaba but only in the best/worst possible way that he knows how.
Being somehow emotional is not the same as being 'weak' or something of the sort, asa needs to understand this asap. Thanks god, Feilong is there to help (in his own personal way)

Making fun of Asami bec. of his feeling for Takaba is one interp. others have been Asami was concerned that Takaba's location would be found out or his location (Asami's). Reading that face to face between them can be taken many ways and taken out of it's total context can mean many things to many readers, after all this is Fei and Asami what else are they going to do but argue about the time of day. Asami' statement on weakness was given in the Hong kong arc during Feilong confusion.(I forget the true context) and the prof. page how he admires strong woman not letting your emotions get influence your decisions. Trying to keep my post short. Asami 's actions have not shown any signs of weakness. If anything he have shown great resoucefulness under great odds. you can see Godzilla coming at you a mile away. You cant' prepare for the turn coat like Sudo Shu. who is being played like a broke fiddle .Sakaxk could not have happened if not for him.Takaba had nada to do with either, so far Asami has managed on his own to keep boh he. his main men and Takaba alive ( as of the last cap. ) with help from Dragon Feilong and Takaba(the phone) So Asami can say I'm still alive. Godzilla has nothing on him.

I'm a native speaker and even I am confused. The story started well enough but after chapter 2, the couple just made excuses to have sex, which would be fine if the story didn't have a plot in the beginning but it did. Dunno what it was though.
