Genboxxy created a topic of Omoichigai ga Koi no Tane

yaoi characters like Yosuke who thinks they're all the shizz needs to be pushed down and broken so they become all submissive and learn their place. GAHHH! his repentance in the story is barely even there too, which is soooo disappointing, not even an apology to either leads. Still rate is as 5 tho.

Genboxxy created a topic of Kemono Asobi

he might be antisocial in a clinical sense, or just have a permanent resting bitch face. Dunno, art's great, story's meh, I apparently read this before from another site and only remembered mid chapter 4, that's how forgettable it was for me. 3.5/5 but will settle for 4 becoz of the art.

because I say I don't like to read them because it's heavy but then I do read them and it gives me the most feels, specially ones like this that's so we'll made- it's short but explores the dynamic and circumstances of the characters nicely, plot makes sense, and the problem was also premediated, meaning it didn't pop outta nowhere. Just be wary of the tags before reading this one. No question, absolutely 5/5

Genboxxy created a topic of Hachimitsu Darling

if that's not good enough, the chemistry between the leads is great too, plus the transition of realizing one's feelings for the other also developed nicely and wasn't like instant, tho the seme's part it might seem like it's sudden coz of his cold trait, then again the story is mainly in the uke's pov so who knows, maybe his internal struggle was just the same.

Genboxxy created a topic of Sugar Code

dynamic between the pair could be great if only the seme only knows how to communicate well, I swear he seemed bipolar in the story what with being lovey dovey with the uke one moment then distant the next- only to be given some bullcrap reason that he's doing some underground shizz for their family/Mafia. I mean the uke already knows that he's part of that life, why is he still hiding info about it? it's frustrating to read, really. 3.5/5

Genboxxy created a topic of Star-like Words

since he did show some level of dedication to change and be faithful to seme, he (uke) is an airhead tho so it gets a little bit frustrating to read his scenes at times, but he does complement the seme which is great. I didn't appreciate the fanatic who just popped out of nowhere to create tension like, I dunno man, he just wasn't as heavy of a character to trigger that? I liked the last chapter tho about the bestfriends turned lovers, it's sooo rushed but then again issa one shot anyway. Solid 4/5

Genboxxy created a topic of A King of 1K

The characters were a bit flat, too pure, even the ex who's supposed to be a jerk for leaving the uke was given some reason for leaving, but even with that, it still feels off? Like is it really necessary tho? his return just felt out of the blue and then him asking to get back with uke as quickly as him accepting his rejection simply makes their reunion so pointless. Also the main pair's dynamic too lacks chemistry for me. Art's my shizz tho so there's that 3/5

This has that trope of doing something small for someone in the past that becomes their foundation for pursuing that person insistently. It's cute character and story-wise but it just blends in easily with others that has the same trope, which isn't necessarily bad.

also appreciate that the seme made an effort to clear the misunderstanding at the end when he realized the uke only thought that his confession was that of work partnership offer and not a proposal to become lovers. Uke can get a bit tooo attached to seme too, but he is feisty and there wasn't any unnecessary drama, even when the ex showed up, uke still tried to hold his ground, tho I still don't understand why the seme couldn't move in that one scene, what kinda conditioning was that? Was his legs threatened to be cut before or something, am I just missing it?

Genboxxy created a topic of A Kiss for Each Face

Kinda reminiscent of the couple from Dear Benjamin (wc I'm still hoping will be updated in this lifetime T . T), I like that they share similar feats just with different personality and approach, also the ending where the seme acknowledges the uke's need for freedom so he doesn't prevent him from going away but instead offers a home in him instead was nice (it's not tragedy tho, don't worry). There's some drama too but that's just expected in this kind of plot/trope. 5/5

Pwp, seme is literally obsessed with uke, it's a good thing he (uke) likes him back, because eventho the seme doesn't seem to be violent, he can easily become the uke's stalker if that happened. My guy (seme) even has an altar of the uke and does worship poses in front of him; With that dynamic, you would think how demented, BUT . . surprisingly, they're actually wholesome together (aside from the fact that they hump like bunnies).

not much chemistry between the leads for me either. It has good intents storywise, but somehow feels like a first draft, too bad because the humor's good, perhaps author is not used to making romance during the production of this?

Incredibly problematic seme and an uke who just can't catch a freaking break, BUT the plot flowed well, drama is just right, fantastic art style. Highly enjoyable if you just keep reminding yourself that this is only a work of fiction, 5/5 still.

Also it makes a big fuzz on the uke being a child so much that it's starting to feel sus, and then the uke's suddenly drawn literally as a kid on the last extra, no smexy scene tho so at least daz good, but still, why emphasize so much?

Genboxxy created a topic of Penthouse XXX

the artist is fantastic with the expressions and the cast feels animated, however the characters are just too much while not much development occurred, kinda scattered plot, forced lovey dovey dynamic at times (probs bcoz they lack romantic chemistry for me), smut scenes are great tho so at least there's that.

Genboxxy created a topic of Ryuuku Ai Utsu

the characters really do act like boys and there's no definite uke/seme dynamic prior to the seggz scene, Still the relationship progressed with romantic chemistry between the couples, comedy was also pulled off well.

Genboxxy created a topic of I Like You

All the characters are likeable enough, the main couple might be too lovey dovey at times and the 2nd is kinda off irl becoz of their huge age gap and also the fact that it's basically a friend ending up with their friend's dad. Good plot though, has drama but defi not angsty, enjoyed it a lot.

Genboxxy created a topic of Ou-sama to Puppy Love

Royalty trope, plus children at the end for the couple, so win win. Only takedown is that it feels like the author shifted midway? it was going the typical abo route during the first 2 chaps then shifted to full throttle fluff after that; the first seggz was even somewhat disregarded during their 2nd seggz coz the uke was still acting all virginal and the seme also seems to have no recollection of the first encounter, it contrasts his actions from the prev chaps. Anyway, l still really like this so izza 5/5.

Genboxxy created a topic of Tosca no Inu

just that some plot points are too fast and it ends up consuming the coherence of the story, like the tension between the groups or the sex deal with the main couple- there was not much substance as to why the uke just suddenly stripped and serviced the seme when he said the repercussion is inevitable, like didn't he dislike the attempted rape in the prev chap? Also the issue is not with the seme in the first place, it's with the oyaji so how tf will seme stop that dude if like he said, the oyaji will fight back simply because he likes fighting in general and would practically take any reason to do it? I appreciate that it focused on romance and did in a way that isn't too lovey dovey and gag-inducing however the other essence of the plot suffered for it instead. Solid 4/5 coz of the pretty characters and beautiful artstyle.

a different but cute dynamic, the seme kinda looks like an uke but that doesn't take away from their actual roles, kinda rushed ending tho, and it's open ended? also not much happened on hindsight. The oneshot was just angst disguised in fluffy clothing, might be off-putting too coz of the huge age gap and relationship (distant relative), but then again it was somehow able to pull it off, at least for me.
