A lot of readers seem to dislike him which I partly get, he is quite obnoxious at times. But this guy is fairly young too, he was even studying AFTER he gave birth. He might come off as money-hungry and materialistic but that's very faithful to his character profile-- he grew up struggling with no one to rely on, of course he'll regard wealth as his top priority. Then he gets SA'd during his heat (don't give me crap that alphas can't resist it, the seme's brother is an alpha too and he never slept with his ex-husband eventho that one is a dominant omega, main uke here is just the recessive type, so clearly there should be a way to resist it consciously, unless seme is just really, really weak). Then he gets SA'd under his heat several more times coz he gave the seme "inspiration" to his songs. He becomes pregnant, then forced to carry the child all the while having to spend time with the guy who he now knows has a record of assaulting him during his unconscious state, that's quite unnerving.
On another note, I like that the seme shifted from his initial cold profile and became caring towards uke and their child throughout the story, but really, he's still a bit of a creep who won't let uke do other things but have sex with him. Is uke about to study? no seme wants sex, taking care of their child? sure, but also sex, what about resting when uke's tired out of his wits? sex, sex, sex,. Heck my guy (uke) can't even explore his own sexuality without seme cockblocking it coz he wants him to have sex with just him (talking about the adult toy and omega porn episodes) lol.
But hey, at least in the end, the feelings eventually became mutual in all aspects of their relationship--all's well that ends well.
