and they weren't constantly in contact for those 10 long years, the uke should've moved on by then, still I like it, also the fact that the uke did date someone else during those time and not just remain single and martyr waiting for the seme was good too. Seme was too oblivious but at least his realization and confession made sense with how the weaving of the story took place.

fluffy but not overtly sweet that it's cringe-inducing. I also like the fact that the uke did move on from his first unrequited love (there was that HS classmate yes, but forget that prick) AND they managed to have a healthy friendship afterwards. The seme is the puppy sort but at least he knows when to back down and owns up to his faults while still attempting to communicate, he might be too good though, not much flaw there aside from the insecurity that he has which also made sense with his background embedded in the plot. The important thing tho, is that the leads seem to compliment each other, and their dynamic works well.

Everything is up my alley from the art style to the story to the character dynamic, BUT the story is just one of those whiplash sort that goes from one tone to another recklessly, like it's so lighthearted one moment then suddenly it's angsty, also the plot is kinda inconsistent, the uke is supposed to be a brat but also gentle? he's supposed to be a slut but aside from the seme, he's only ever been with one other dude, he pushed the seme away coz he wants him to take him as a pure senpai but his motive from the beginning was actually to get close to him coz he's got a crush on the seme? Like were there edits throughout this production that the author refused to give up that's why the plot seems scattered in multiple ways? the seme on the other hand is more consistent, but boy is he lowkey the type who won't take no for an answer, so much that it's creepy. I would've said that the wobbly plot is due to the translation again, but this group is actually known and are good at what they do, I doubt that's the case for this one.

Every single time there's a trope where the uke is abused by a former seme I kept wanting that seme to become an uke for another seme so they get a taste of their own medicine, I finally got that with the second couple which is NOICE, but it was taken too lightly like it was more of a reward for him really than punishment. The main couple uke was angsty due to his trauma which was understandable, so I'd have loved it if the second uke also went through the same trauma, the worse, the better, like he could've hated bottoming for the second seme then he becomes too attached (he likes pain anyway) but the seme doesn't want anything to do with him that way and throws him away instead, then he becomes desperate and shameless because he wants that seme to look at him and mess him up again bu the seme wouldn't budge, which triggers him to on a path of ruins by finding a replacement for the seme whether it be sex, drugs, or alcohol, something like that. Ugh, I hope if the author continues the story for the second couple, they go with that route.

Bruh i can't believe we have same desire, totally same! But for me in the end the second couple still end game, but the uke should feel many pain first before they would be end game. It's going to be great story for uke chara development to realize or learn his sins. After that seme will notice his change and start to interest and help him out for miserable(because uke being stress about realizing his mistake). Haha i know so dramatic, but idk i like it

-still don't care for him in this one. This kind of dynamic where the same types go with each other is one that I actually like coz it can have good banter and good character development, but I guess it's not as easy to pull off. I couldn't care much for this couple, they're not as problematic as the first couple in this trilogy, and the main problem for them is just coz the uke keeps running away and stuff. I dunno, it's another one of those story and couple who I just don't feel any attachment towards. I still like the artstyle tho.

Though the main couple is lovey-dovey they don't make you cringe, you just feel good witnessing their lives unfold through the pages. So good. I like that they have such a healthy dynamic and complements each other so well, great communication from both ends, and both are willing to compromise for the other, heck the seme even went first and tried to be the bottom so the uke will not be strained instead of forcing the uke to bottom like most BLs. I also like that the side couple's story is literally left up to the readers imagination, there's high chance for romance but nothing is ever confirmed in that one shot, they could also end up sailing smoothly into their happily ever after like the main pair, but they could also have drama and angst specially considering the potential uke's preferences and behavior.

it's rated low but tbh, it's not bad at all, I actually like it, but to those interested, consider the other comments coz it's legit. This isn't a typical BL, the story is set on the perspective of a mob character, a fudanshi, who gets intertwined in the affairs of 2 other students, so the plot is voyeuristic which I do like; there's only one other manga that I know which has a similar lens (the plot is also kinda similar except that one is a semi love triangle betwen uke x seme x pov mob) but that one I can only rate 4 at most, this one, tho not exactly a masterpiece, I really did enjoy, I was drawn into the drama of the whole thing, and the MC is likeable enough and even relatable at times, so definitely 5/5 for me.

Sorry, I can't seem to recall the exact title since it didn't really stand out for me so I didn't put it on any of my lists, but it had voyeur or spectator or audience or something on the title and it's like a collection of short stories too but that one was definitely not a one shot (3-4 chapters if I remember correctly) for details, I remember the MC having a face unlike this one and the main couple are his classmates.
If it's any consolation, I'll ping this topic when I stumble into it again. Also, if you're into 3rd party povs, ya might want to check this out if you haven't already, it's pretty good too https://www.mangago.zone/read-manga/joshi_bl/

fluffy and nice but that ending was so abrupt for me, not much happens, main conflict is on the alpha who gets drawn to a beta after their spicy encounter, but then apparently said beta actually liked the alpha all along for whatever unspecified reason, and get this, the alpha apparently also liked the beta all along, he just didn't know it. It's good enough but it didn't do much for me.
Leads were written like regular men with neither being overtly masculine nor overtly feminine.
I like that the seme totally has an uke vibe around him but it doesn't feel forced and it still works, would be better though if they switch. I dunno, I just want it for the party who's more persistent to be the bottom coz if you're the one who wants it so bad in the first place, then you ought to take most of the strain for that activity too, you know? Also seke couples in BL are extremely rare, this could've been one of those gems, it has great potential.
What I don't like in this though is that the women here are treated like nothing, not even human, the few interactions they have with them, they're always rude to them for no good reason, and eventhough both leads got married (and then divorced), the women they married were treated like tools for their own little childish games; not even for the sake of reproduction, nor inheritance, or something majorly significant, it's just due to some petty reason that's all about each other and crap.
I'm also not a fan of instantly turning 180 after the establishment of relations, specially for works like this one where the development supposedly took years to develop, it just seems off for me, like I'm not reading the same story with the same characters.
Anyway, I couldn't attach myself much either to the characters nor plot at the end.
Both got married? From what I saw only the blonde one got married. And it was a contract marriage. So the woman knew what she was there for. She didn't get used. If anything she's playful and at ease.
yeah!
only blonde got married. i think the confusion arises because Kengou always brings the topic up saying "even though you got married" and Touma mimics that like saying i know you are going to say "even though you got married".
Kengou also got married. In the first chapter it’s mentioned that he got married twice.
He didn't get married. The texts are misplaced in that. It caused confusion
Did we read the same manga? ajsdjsjskgl
