There was so much potential with Suzuki "wanting so see Hokuto cry". Couldve been a great S&M awakening. Too bad. It's an okay manga. Plot was predictable. I felt like a psychic because i already knew what they were gonna say. And man, do they talk a hell loooooot. Plus, Hokuto is too immature for a 16-17 year old 2nd year high school student. They could've made up for all of it with a great big hot smex scene but it wasn't there.
It wasn't a bad manga...just not particularly remarkable. Could be worse. The art was good so yay.
Minaduki Yuu has never let me down.
This manga had some really sad parts especially with Ryou's childhood. And let me tell you it's not just some farfetched drama added as shock factor. People CAN be huge assholes. It's easy to be a bad person but difficult to choose good, so they say. Sometimes, it could really feel like there's not enough happiness in this world so some would go around taking it from others. But that doesn't mean you should give up on humanity. There will always be good people. and in this story, we have our Yuuichi. Also, notice how Ayumu never reverted to his sparkly-eyed attitude when his mother was alive. He might never get to be like that again, but that doesn't mean he isn't happy and that he will never be happy. Ryou's case showed this clearly. All in all, the story captured the bitterness life could offer and at the same time, the sweet bliss we could find if we decide to keep going.
Feels.
The whole point of the story was to keep things vague so I totally get how there's no clear facts. Sensei must have intentionally left everything laid out in bits and pieces so that we sort it out by ourselves. From what i can tell, Aruse is Grey. There's too many things that Grey said that fit Aruse too much for him to not be the same guy. He couldn't have put or had that beauty mark himself before Aruse was even mentioned by Sudo. And the "you won't even sleep with me" and "I hate being indebted to others". Also one of his disguises in the last chapter had the same shade of hair as Aruse, just older. Probably his real hair color? He just lied about not being Aruse either due to his nature or because in the past, Sudo wouldn't sleep with him. Besides, why would the author introduce a character (Aruse), give him his own bg story and connection to the protagonist if he didn't mean crap to the story? Well, that's just how I see it.
Anyway. Those are some damn incompetent police.
I found it on tumblr a long time ago but now i couldn't find the source. anyways, it went like this.
After they started living together, Arikawa and Misaki passed by a flower shop that had hanakotoba (language of flowers) attached to the plants. Remember that time Arikawa accidentally sent him an Agapanthus (Lily of the Nile) which meant "I love you"? Well, the shop also had Daisies, which were the flowers that Misaki sent as a reply. Misaki tried to hide the meaning but failed and ran away. So Arikawa read the accompanying hanakotoba of the daisy and it said "I have the same feeling as you." Then he bought the daisies.
if anyone could provide the original link to this to give credits that'd be awesome~
